Yes, that's my post right under this one.... I had a chemical last cycle, so I didn't get to stay. But, we're pregnant again! This time, I'm having a lot more promising symptoms and I got a digi "pregnant" reading, which I didn't get last time (though I got a positive on fifty million other brands). So, I'm hoping this bean sticks!!

We're due May 4th! Anyone else?

I would be May 8th, if I'm pregnant. But I won't know that for awhile still, as I'm only 6dpo. But I had spotting today. That's not normal for me, so hopefully it's a good sign and I'll have a positive in about a week.

I'm 14/15 dpo right now and I'm cramping just like AF. My beta is scheduled for tomorrow so either way I'll know. Realistically I know the chance is almost non-existant, but I'm still hoping. I'f I'm pregnant my due date will be may 2nd. One day before the due date with my son.

So...when do they normally officially open the DDC?? Do we need a thread keeper of does an OP do that....

How are you all telling family and friends? This is #4 for us and even DH and my cousin are like, yup you are pregnant. No excitement... So I suspect it will be similar from others as well.

My mil will be estatic, my mom will have a heartattack... :lol I'm an only child and she about passed out when we told her about #3.

Good luck to all!!

We are going to try and wait as long as possible before we tell anyone. We're also not gonna find out the sex this time either. : ) I can hardly contain the excitement... I really wanna tell someone, but I'm afraid to!!! : ) PLUS, once you let the cat out of the bag, it's hard holding back.

I'm here! My due date is April 30, but I went two weeks late with my daughter so I'm pretty much due in May.

I've told a lot of people already! I've been so excited, I've had a hard time containing it.

But I plan on waiting to tell everyone the sex at Christmas, hoping we find out. So I can make a big deal out of .

I am also planning to find out gender. For some reason knowing that is really important to me. What are your gender preferences, if any? Last time I had a strong preference for a girl, but this time I have a slight preference for a boy.

Aww... I would want to find out too, Adtake! Since we found out with our DD, we want to be surprised this time. We'll see if can truly wait! Do you plan on POAS any more? I have three Dollar Tree tests, two EPT blue tests, and the digital one. I like doing it, so I probably will continue to use them to see them get darker!!!

:bag: I did one this morning. First one since Monday though! I like seeing the line get darker. My first tests were *so* faint I had to squint in the sun to see them. I've been really wanting a dark line like I had with my daughter (I tested with her at something like 20dpo).

I got that this morning, finally! So now hopefully the obsession will abate.

There was a way cool picture on another site. The gal was using the cheapie kit ones and had them lined up...it went from way faint to dark line. So I am peeing on one of those daily to be able to do that.... I've peed on at least 10, still have 8 of them that have lines.. :lol

Still have a Equate EPT, a First Responce and like 6 of the cheapie kit ones....so I will be testing again. Will have to keep them all the show the critter later. I have a box that I keep little things in from all the boys (cord clamp, first hat) and I have the pregnancy tests in them.

K, so I'll join you and whoever wants to join us in the morning for a good ole' POAS!!! Have a great night, Mamas!!! : )

By the way, the heat calmed a bit today, so I decided to walk the three mile round trip jaunt to the playground with DD! My goodness am I tired!!! I got a little rush afterwards, but it's mostly just fatigue. Don't know if I'll be that adventurous anytime soon. And to think, I was jogging the 3 miles daily last month, before it got too hot! Oh well... All is worth it for a sweet little BFP!!! : )

Woohoo! I'm loving seeing this thread get bigger. So, what are your symptoms (if any yet), mamas?

At 7dpo, late at night, I all of a sudden had a wave of nausea hit me and I had to run to the bathroom and throw up. Then, I decided to go to bed beacuse I didn't feel better and I woke up at 2:30 in the morn after not sleeping well covered in sweat. I took my temp thinking I must have a fever, and it was 98.3 and vaginally on my BBT it was 99.04, so no fever.

That was major for me, and my cervical position was medium and very soft. I always go firm after O and it didn't happen.

Plus, I was throwing up several times after implantation, too, after eating, so that was a sign, too.

So, I will admit, that I had some anxiety earlier about the reality of how our lives are going to change no matter what happens and while I'm so completely overjoyed about being pregnant at this moment, that thought really freaks me out. I talked to my mom about it earlier and she told me it was completely normal, which helped, but then I started getting a little anxious about it when I got home.

Then, all of a sudden, this sense of complete love for this baby came over me and I've been super calm since (about 2 hours). I've never felt that before but it was awesome.

I have anxiety too! I keep praying, touching my belly, talking to my baby, and just try not get too worked up over anything ~ it's just not worth it!!! DH is already calling it "baby". He told DD (2) that he loves her and her baby brother very much. Hehe... Makes me feel all giddy! Then I was like, "Hey what about me?" He said, "I'm just talking about my kids right now!" with a big smile on his face.

Symptoms ~ Geez, what haven't I had. That crazy, different, something has happened feeling right after o ~ like an out of body experience kinda. @ 4dpo I had a dizzy, I'm gonna throw up, pass out, and poo at the same time spell. Headache for a couple days. Tiny spells of nausea here and there, nothing major. BACHACHE!!! BBs sensitive when DD nurses ~ areolas darkening and super veiny (extremely puffy and road mappish). Little twinges and light cramping. When I get up too fast, I get a cramp in my uterine area. I did that with dd, only later! Fatigue. Spaciness & memory loss, ALREADY!!! Also, my tissue down there is really sensitive (bleeds a little and sore) and I may have a small YI. YUCK! Guess that's about it as far as symtoms go... Oh, wait, increased saliva and a need to drink lots of water... Now, how many of these are REALLY symptoms or just in my head, WHO KNOWS?

I feel the need to share! Others, please share also, so I don't feel like such a nerd, K? If ya get sick of me, just tell me to cut it out! : )

I am here! Great tests! Is it sinking in yet?

I have a doc appointment to check my hormone levels today. I have PCOS and I'm not taking any meds right now (I conceived my daughter on Metformin and took it through my pregnancy).

My cycles have been regular the last few years and when I had bloodwork done a year and a half ago, my hormones were really good. But I'm fretting, of course, now that I am pg, and I'm going to get a doc opinion about whether or not I need Met this pregnancy.

So I'm kind of stressed about that, I feel like I wish I'd gotten to the doc sooner, but I was away, and although I called my own nurse and midwife neither of them know Met can be useful in pregnancy, so i found that lack of knowledge pretty frustrating.

Oh well. I'm hoping I don't need Met! Coz man, it's not a fun drug to take.

Anxiety is hard.

Hey, IndianaMommy, we're due on the same day!!! How can that be, though? I am 14dpo today. You are 8dpo according to your post. Is it because of cycle length? The last cycle of mine was 28 days, O'ed on the 10th, and I guess that's all the info they require to calculate due date. But if you count 38 weeks from O day, I'm due on the 2nd!!! I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!! So, I guess, Adtake and I would be due on the same day that way! : ) Oh, well, it's just an estimate anyway!!!

IndianaMommy ~ that's cool about your overwhelming feeling. I hope it helps you stay calm and collected! : ) I, too, already love this little bean! I can't wait to tell him/her about my mission(my body telling me it was time for another one) and just knowing he/she was conceived. And all the crazy stuff that happened right after conception. I love it that his/her and DD's stories will be SO different.

Last night the tiredness hit me. I fell asleep watching a movie with the family at 530pm and slept until 730am when my alarm went off to get the kids ready for school.
I also have an increase in appetite and I am always thirsty. It doesn't help that I am a full time student and I walk miles a day on compus from class to class in 100F weather.

I wasn't supposed to get my AF until th 21st of Augut, but i knew before then that I might be pregnant, because i had the same crampy feelings I had with my first pregnancy. So I took one of those early results test and it came back positive on the 17th. Has anyone else hre confirmed a pregnancy that quick???? I'm so excited because I'm gonna try to do a VBAC this time around. The birth center told me they will send to an ob who will look at my chart and see if I'm a candidate. I have a may 1st due date, although if i factor in my cyce length it gives me april 30th. I'll stick with the may one.
Again, congrats to all the ladies!

Seriously, I haven't gotten my brain back since DD's birth in 2005. Now, it's EVEN worse!!! : ) Oh, well...

Is everybody cringing at every little weird twinge??? I hate this nervous anticipation. Seems like I was walking on egg shells the last time too, until the second trimester. Then, it was like, "Ah, I can breathe again, and relax a little!!!" Then, the baby grew bigger and I could no longer breathe!!!

Oh, that reminds me... Another symptom! I'm constantly out of breath!!! I was that way fairly early on with my DD, but come on now!!! It's quite noticable. It's not like I'm in really bad shape either. CRAZY!!!

Yahoo! I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. I have POAS four times since then just cause I like watching the pink lines show up. If you cant tell I am a first time mommy so every thing is new and way cool! I dont have any symptoms other than a collection of pee sticks. I am actually very energetic although I think that is due to all my excitement.

I havent told anyone other than my sister (Ben's Mommy) and it is killing me. Since it is my first I want to make it special when I tell everyone so my sister and I have been planning. I will tell my husband first at dinner tomarrow night by giving him a present of baby cloths that say "I Love My Daddy" on them and a coupon book called You Owe Me, filled with coupons for back rubs and midnight treats and all sorts of stuff I am going to want him to do for me when I am preggers. :lol After that DH and I will tell my parents and older sister, then everybody else. I am going to be emailing and calling until my fingers drop off. The hardest part has been trying to keep it a secret for the past day. One more day left to go then I can tell and the big bubble in my chest can explode.

So I am a total newbie to everything but I have been excited about getting pregnant for the past 3 years. I have read tons of books, already picked out my midwife, plan on a homebirth and even had my baby regestry set up online before I even knew I was pregnant. Yeah I know I am a bit :dizzy: , but I have been waiting so long for my husband to be ready that I am over ready and about to explode.

Ok now that I have written a book her I will stop for now. I cant wait for our DDC to get started so I can stop sculking arround the April DDC.

Forgot to mention DD is May 1st, yeah Tarus!

See ya all around.

Regarding symptoms, the only one i've had is a lot of dull cramping, much more so than with my first pregnancy. i wonder if it has anything to do with my cesarean scar.

greenmomma ~ I've noticed quite a bit of dull cramping starting yesterday. Before I guess, all I had was weird twinges. It's really kind of annoying. Last night, my back ached so badly, I had to lay in bed while DD watched Curious George. I was so stinkin' exhausted.

We ordered pizza and all I wanted was cheese and vegetarian, so I requested half and half. Before the pizza could get here, I had another craving ~ Avacado & Tabasco!!! Anyway, once the pizza was here, the black olives and mushrooms tasted horrible! (I usually love them!) So, I picked them off and had nothing but green peppers. Ladies, I've found my favorite!!! I will no longer eat anything else, but green peppers and cheese!!! YUM YUM YUM!!!

I'd love some room to spread out and start chatting about various topics, myself!

FUNNY, Our little Avacado was conceived at the Red Roof Inn in Charleston!!! : ) The red roof was the only hotel with the in room movie service. I haven't told anyone yet. We will probably wait a long time until we share the news (until I'm obviously showing maybe?), I tend to keep my pregnancies a secret. I just got "weird" like that from being a former teen mom and the sooner I told people the sooner I got negative comments and stress.

Hello, I POAS yesterday and got a positive result, although I'd had some suspicions since I got a nasty bunch of plugged ducts the day I ovulated. I think my edd is something like May 6. I guess I must be pretty cheap, I bought the store brand pregnancy test, and was quite happy to only test once. I'm very relieved to be pregnant, the 2ww's were really doing my head in.

Hi! I am joining in here for the first time (well, apparently I had an account so I think I have posted before...maybe in infant sleep forum or something?). Anyway, I got my first BFP (very faint) on Aug 25 at 11 dpo and a darker one the following day. I still have one test that I am saving to take in another few days to see if it's darker again! My due date is around May 8ish (varies depending on whether you calculate from LMP date or ovulation date...I tend to prefer the later date, couple more days of breathing room before they start talking induction).

This will be my second. My first was born in 2005, a boy :-) DH and I planned to keep it a secret except for my best friend, but I kinda blabbed to my parents today so we will probably tell his parents very soon as well.

Cat - Yay, a due date buddy! :hug And a 2WW buddy :lol I totally don't feel pregnant at 4 days post-ovulation. But I guess I wouldn't, because the hormones don't start pumping until the wee babe implants in the uterus, right? I think implantation usually occurs 5-8 days after ovulation, or something like that. How are you feeling??

My only symptom so far is my boobs feel heavier, although they dont hurt. Weird thing is, my boobs used to hurt a lot right before I would get my period, and after I had my son that completely stopped. So I am not expecting them to hurt with this pregnancy. Did anything similar happen to the mommas who already have babies???

My girlie will be 4.5 when this baby comes. My due date is actually on her half birthday!

I'm wondering what it will be like to have a Taurus around... I don't know any Taureans, at least I don't have any in my super close circle. Hmm...

Symptoms - I have low appetite, some nausea which is frequent but manageable, and I am EXHAUSTED. Green_momma, my boobs hurt but only a little bit. They didn't hurt much with my first pregnancy either, and I am still nursing so i am not expecting much pain. At least, I'm hoping for not much pain!

Funny thing with my family is DD and DH's August Birthdays are back to back. My birthday is May 9th, so I could possibly have the same thing happen if I go late. : )

Latest, Most Prominent Symptom ~ PURE FATIGUE All Day Long!!! I take a nap with DD every afternoon and I'm ready to go to bed at 9 o'clock!!! We've been sleeping in too! : )

My nips are a little sore when I nurse dd, but that's pretty much it. Night, Mamas!

My kid has been from hell ever since I got pg. I think it's coz I left her at her dad's house for 36 hours, the longest ever, to go get pg. She doesn't like sleeping over there, she says she likes dada day and mama night. :lol She tends to cling hardcore whenever there is a seperation that is out of her control.

Then just as she was coming out of that funk, I said I'm pg. She is really excited but also has some mixed feelings. She has been nursing CONSTANTLY, and whenever she gets corrected even in the mildest way by anyone, she says, "I want to go home!!" With her dad she says, "I want mama!"

It's like: geez, man!

I AM FREAKING OUT! Okay, I know I experienced a little bit of brown blood in the beginning of my last pregnancy. I don't remember how much or anything, but I know it happened. This morning after a (tmi) BM, I noticed some when I wiped. Please tell me someone else has experienced this!!! I'm not cramping or anything. I just have butterflies from the nerves! Well, brown is good, it means it's old. I had a bit of bleeding after a BM my last pregnancy, I was a little further along (10 weeks).

Sending sticky vibes!!!

As for symptoms, I POAS again today because I feel like I should be feeling something more by now (line was way faster to appear and darker than last time, phew!)! I think I am forgetting that I tested much later last time (a whole week later than this time). So far I mainly have sensitive nipples. No sore boobs, but I didn't have those last time either.

I'm going to test this weekend. It looks like my due date would be around the 11th. I am noticing that my breasts are getting a bit bigger again, and ds just weaned about a month ago, but last night, I felt like they were heavy, like back in the days when he was exclusively breastfed.

Okay, I am a bit late to this thread, but I will be more present next week.

We are due with #3 on or around May 2. This is after, what is apparently a very successful vasectomy reversal.

So far, nothing major symptom wise, just a low ache today in my back, but I have been sleeping on a hotel mattress at a conference for work, and think that has more to do with it.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Yep. I've lost about 8 pounds. Decreased appetite. I lost 30 in my first trimester with my daughter.

My midwife says it's okay, as long as you're not underweight, and as long as you are getting some food in.

So, I had a couple of those occurances yesterday. Nothing today. I'm still feeling preggo. From here on out, I'm really going to try not to psyche myself out!

Yesterday, we were out and about. One of the cashiers looked at my dd and said, "Aww, she's really cute! And another one on the way!" We haven't told anyone yet and my grandma (who lives with us) was with me. I told her, "No, I just haven't lost all the baby weight from this one." I gained 65 pounds, maybe even 70 during my first pregnancy. Not sure how that happened as besides the cartons of ben & jerrys that I clearly deserved during the summer months ;), I ate quite well, in my opinion. I lost all but ten and gained another 5 (due to lack of daily walking/lifestyle change). Maybe I need to lay off the bagels?!

I do not own a scale, although I had one during my first pregnancy. I debate about buying one for this pregnancy.

So far now, my appetite is the same, no aversions. hmmm.

Wow, I already feel late to this party! But HI there ladies! I'm so excited to have slid into another spring baby -- EDD is 5/4/08. I loved having my DD in the spring...I love not having to be huge and hot during the summer months....

Anyway, since the beginning of the year I've been working hard at losing a lot excess weight so I would be in a better place to get pregnant. Well, I've lost 39.5 pounds (don't you know, I'll be dropping that last 0.5 in the next week or two just so I can say FORTY) and I *just* found out I'm PG so things are working out well!

I've got an appointment with a MW on the 12th. I think I'll be doing a birth center birth this time. And I don't think I'll be finding out the baby's sex...I've heard being surprised is the best so I might go for that! However, there is something in me that is saying its a boy even from the get-go. Don't know why...

Hopefully Iīll be a May mummy. Itīs CD19/25-37. Last night I had a TTC dream. Last night I felt a bit of bubbling in my belly and it has continued today with other feelings in my belly. I had a bellyache today, it may or may not be īcause my jeans were tight -> my bellyīs possible a bit swollen. Today I had a blood/metal taste in my mouth for a while, thatīs veeery rare for me. Today Iīve also had a bit of light pink spotting in my underpants, which I never ever get, and itīs way too early to be AF. So hoping itīs implantation time!!! At least I canīt be making up all these symptoms, theyīre real, so thatīs a good thing!

Canīt wait to test and start chatting with you all about our preg. symptoms etc! Fingers crossed for all of you in the same waiting situation! :thumb

EDIT: One more thing, my boobs possibly feel fuller than normally. I breasfeed 26mo DD still, but I donīt think Iīve had loads of milk anymore, my boobs have often felt quite flat.

Hey there everyone-

Got my big faint positive this morning at 13dpi. I'm having strange twinges in my uterus...I think it's normal, but I am still nervous. I had a massive mood swing on Tuesday afternoon- figured it was early PMS- boy was I wrong :)

When I plugged my last period into a due date calculator I got Monday, May 12, 2008.

Thismama- hey, glad to join you here :)

*Really* hoping to join!

My chart is looking good to me (Never had a 98.3 before unless pregnant and I got that today!).

I'll pee on Monday :).

I think I'd be due on May 13th if I get a BFP!

Cute. You know you'll be testing on Labor day- gotta be some good luck in there.

I've had some twin thoughts too, and I'm not normally the type to 'sence' things (?) I have an early u/s next Friday (may not even see heartbeat yet) but that will put a rest to these twin thoughts.

I'm not sure if we're gonna do a u/s or not. I did buy a doppler on Ebay though. Can't use it until 10 weeks! 5 more weeks to go!!! : ) I also bought some maternity stuff @ OldNavy.com . Does it bug anyone how due date are calculated??? I am 5 weeks and 1 day, but in reality I'm only 3w 1d. It's crazy!!!

Sorry for this x-post (another in Nursing Mommies TTC in August), but I want to have my foot in this door as well! :)

I just did an ovulation test minutes ago, itīs CD20 and the test was positive. Another good reason to think I actually am pregnant, havenīt many people had their pregnancy show on O sticks? I have something going on with my belly all the time now, doesnīt feel normal AT ALL. All sorts of feelings there. Quite a bit of pain today too, auch.

I also noticed I donīt fancy having any sweet stuff, yesterday I bought choc, biscuits, ice-cream and a mudcake for the weekend, but I didnīt fancy any, still almost forced down a bit of choc just īcause it was there Very weird for me as every day I usually crave something sweet, itīs become a bad habit.

To BD or not to BD tonight, thatīs the question! I suppose it wouldnīt harm to let some boys in me just in case without me having an orgasm? (I heard orgasm is not recommended during luteal phase?) I just donīt feel like it at all in this situation. EDD would be May 19th... I already want to go through DDīs old clothes and sort them out to girlsī and boysī piles (got loads of pink), Iīm already thinking of how DD needs to have a room of her own when we have a baby, she would otherwise be woken up, Iīm already thinking of a name, Iīm just in a real baby mood, itīs all I think about.

I just know Iīm expecting and itīs killing me I canīt test yet. Iīm thinking of testing next Tuesday with a very sensitive test, it should then be about 10 days since O, if the spotting I had yesterday was indeed implantation. My brain tells me to wait a bit more though. Iīd just like to get a positive test this time, when testing for DD it was nervewrecking to go from negative to faint to positive.

My symptoms by far (hope I remember all):
-Light brown spotting yesterday (way too early to be AF, never have it, hopefully implantation spotting)
-Bloody/metallic taste in my mouth for a while yesterday (never have it)
-Belly not normal at all, bloated, quite gassy, achy, bubbles for 2 days now, bad cramps today
-Slight upper back pain (may have nothing to do with this)
-Posivite ovulation test today on CD20 (my cycles have been 25 and 37 days)
-Donīt fancy sweet stuff and Iīm a real sugar tooth (concerning!)
-One dream concerning baby stuff and already feel like organising the flat for the baby
-Fuller boobs (canīt see no reason why my milk would suddenly increase with 26mo DD, Iīve been quite flat for a long time now)

It would be great to hear of more of your symptoms too! :blah

Hereīs to everyone :dust Never too much of it!

Orgasm is fine, as far as I've ever heard, unless you have a high risk pregnancy and the doctor contraindicates it.

Good luck!

I don't do u/s or doppler without medical reason, so it will be awhile before I hear anything.

Is there something bad about dopplers that I should know about? Just curious. We're most likely not doing an ultrasound because we're not finding out the sex and wouldn't terminate anyway, even if something was wrong. Plus, I've always wondered if they're totally safe. : )

Doppler uses the same technology as u/s.

I do ultrasounds because I feel anxious and ultrasounds bring me a lot of peace. But I would maybe look into it before doing regular doppler use. I'm not sure what the potential risks or harms might be, though.

MamaJ2005
09-01-2007, 01:39 PM
I see. I hadn't really put too much thought into it, but it makes sense the technology would be the same. Have there been studies conducted proving u/s and dopplers could potentially cause harm?

LaffNowCryLater
09-01-2007, 01:40 PM
I am curious about the risks of u/s. I definitely want atleast one though (the 20 week anatomy scan) b/c ds has a birth defect that we found then. And it is one that definitely needed to be monitored.

With dd I think I had 2, and that was good for me. (One for dating purposes b/c I had no clue and then the 20 week one).

MamaJ2005
09-01-2007, 01:50 PM
Yeah, I had one with DD. Every visit with the midwives at our local women's center, they used dopplers to listen to the hb. I just thought it would be kinda neat since I'm doing a homebirth this time to be able to hear the baby's little heart thumping away. It brought tear of joy to my eyes last time and never got old hearing it. If there are verified risks involved, I'd reconsider though.

It's not so much *verified* risks as the lack of verifying data that there ARE NO risks.

There is the potential for risk (the sound waves have been shown to cause heat in tissue) therefore I choose to not use it without medical reason.

Oh...and I meant to ask for some advice. My dear, sweet sister and her husband have been ttc their first child for 9 months without any luck. JUST yesterday she was telling me how competitive she is and that she suspects that her BIL and his wife will soon be ttc and she would HATE it if they conceived first. In fact, she'd be unhappy, I think, if they were both pregnant about the same time (you know how first-time grandparents/family dynamics can be). She also told me she is sick of hearing, from her pregnant friends, "and we weren't even trying!" We don't intend to "spill the beans" for a couple of months, but I'm very concerned about telling my sister. I'm concerned that if I don't tell her soon she'll think I kept it from her because they're trying to conceive. I'm afraid if I tell her soon it will be depressing. I'm worried I'll tell her in November and she won't have conceived yet. Or she will have. Any suggestions/advice? I really want my sister's pregnancy - whenever it occurs - to be fantastic and all that it should be. While every baby is a delight and a miracle, no one wants their sister's 5th pregnancy to overshadow the one you've been trying to achieve ever since your sister had her last one! I just don't want to rain on her parade or throw salt in wounds. (Pregnancy apparently brings out the idioms in me!)

Mrs.S ..

So sorry to hear about your delima. I can imagine how frustrating it would be. Not a whole lot of advise, but lots of :hug

I might say go ahead and tell her. I'm trying to think from her side of it...we TTC for #1 for 2 years and it was waaayyy stressful. I had no family also trying or even ready for kids, so there was no issue there, but every friend I knew was getting pregnant.

I hope you find some peace in it. Good luck!

Alison - I love the comment in your sig about the little May flower :)

10 DPO and I still feel perfectly normal. Oh well, at least I'm not having any PMS :lol My luteal phase is 13 days, so I'm expecting AF on Wednesday. If I have no temp drop on Wednesday morning then I'll POAS to confirm. I can hardly take the waiting :wink

MrsS- There is going to be no easy way to tell your sister, she is going to hurt whether you tell her now or later. Just try to remember that the hurt isn't about you, it's just her own pain. I always found it easier to hear someone else's news either gently by phone or email, where i could find out in the privacy of my own home and then deal with my emotions without an audience. :hug My younger sister got pg with #2 after we'd been ttc#2 since her ds1 was born, and it was heartwrenching for us. Thankfully she understands that we didn't blame her, we were just devastated for us.

I'm cautiously jumping in here, with an EDD of May 9. After 3yrs of ttc, I'm skeptical that this is real! I've taken 4 hpts, all positive, but I haven't tried the digital or had a blood test done yet. My breasts are tender, and I guess feel fuller. After nursing ds for 4+years, they've been pretty floppy for a while! :lol I am queasy but not to the point of throwing up, but no aversions to coffee yet! I couldn't stand the smell of it when I was pg with ds, but I've been drinking only decaf for a couple of years now, so maybe I'll get to keep it? My uterus is cramping like crazy. Is this normal? Ds was a surprise, and with my long and always changing cycles I didn't realize I was pg til I was 6wks. Combined with a throat infection from hell that lasted 2 wks, I didn't notice any of the early symptoms until the infection started to clear up and I still couldn't eat! :o

Iīm now a 2WWīer.

All the spotting and cramps and other symptoms I had werenīt implantation, but ovulation! I couldnīt believe it, never in my life have I felt any ovulation (or PMS) symptoms! Obviously giving birth has changed that, big time. I so thought I was pregnant.

We had a good BD coverage (from CD8 every 2nd day until O (CD21, I think thatīs when I Oīd) and 2 days in a row when I had +O tests, CD20 and 21), so fingers and toes crossed, same for everyone else waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting... :) Iīm really gonna try and wait for 14 days until testing.

MamaJ, there is NO way I'm going jogging....not in Miami anyways. It's like 90 degrees plus outside, and it's very very humid. Sometimes I wished I lived someplace like Washington or Colorado.....sigh.

Whoa, Green Momma! I wouldn't be able to jog there either!!! It's just now gotten cool enough to jog here in SC. Perhaps you could go to a mall and briskly walk around during a non-peak hour. I know it's not the same, but it might give you the little burst of energy you need! : )

I really should be exercising. I'm gonna do a VBAC for this pregnancy, so I've been telling myslef that I need to exercise to get in shape...but so far all I've been doing is sitting on my behind.

MamaJ2005

My motivation for getting back into the groove is you can increase your exercise during the first trimester only while the placenta is still growing. I had about a month's break and fell way behind what I normally do. What I am able to do now should help me stay fit. I'll probably cut out the jogging when I am bigger though. I can't see myself running with a giant belly in front of me! Hehe...

I joined earlier last week, but went on vacation, so haven't been able to keep up.

I jog too, but it has been way to hot here in AZ (110 every day for about a week), so that has been out. Haven't felt too bad. A bit queasy. Sore nipples, that kind of thing.

Odd cramps and lower back pain, but so far no blood or anything, so I am hopeful. I worry until I hear a heartbeat, so the first 12 weeks are so so long. Nearly half way there though.

Hope everyone is feeling good.

Killick ~ I had to wait it out here in SC. We had crazy temps in the 100s for so long!!!

Anybody have muscle cramps in your arms and legs and joint pain? Mine have been way sore!

Also, my uterus does this crazy pulse thing. It's really strange. Anyone else having crazy uterus stuff already???

Also, DH brought up the fact he only wants 2 kids and it really got to me! I already knew he prefers 2, but he's been acting for the longest like he wouldn't mind one more. Argh! I can't imagine this being the last time I'm ever preggo!

Well, I was/am expecting AF today but my temp stayed high (although there may have been a confounding factor - my toddler was lying next to me kicking and crying while I took my temp because he wanted to play with my thermometer...). So I POAS but it was negative.

AF today, no surprise but still a shame. This was my first cycle learning about my fertility (CM, cervix, temps, luteal phase length, O day, O sticks etc) so itīs been good, at least I know I do O and I know pretty much when to BD, and just got to be hopeful weīll have a June baby! Sigh.
