Hi I'm in the April ddc listed as due April 27th. But really I could be a bit later. I never had a LMP because of a M/C so I'd like to join here too. I getting a u/s in a week in a half a should have a better idea of a due date. Looking forward to chating with all of you. Hope you guys don't mind a few straglers.

All this "freak" talk is cracking me up...my mom was asking the other day when I am going to wean DS (who's 2), since I'm preggo now. I told her I am just playing it by ear, it is up to him and if he doesn't wean, I am fine with tandem nursing. My mom needed a definition of tandem nursing, and when I told her she just said "Oh my.":lol

I am:dizzy: I've been seriously sick with an upper respiratory infection, and when I would have a coughing fit, I would get the round ligament pain. It's one reason I decided to take a test!

I've gotten varying answers... so somewhere between April 26th and May 2nd. I have a whole due week! ;)

I'm going to guess later because this is my first, so it may decide to hang out in there for a while.

"Round ligament pain generally refers to a brief, sharp, stabbing pain or a longer-lasting dull ache that pregnant women commonly feel in the lower abdomen or groin, starting in the second trimester.

The round ligaments surround your uterus in your pelvis. As your uterus grows during pregnancy, the ligaments stretch and thicken to accommodate and support it. These changes can occasionally cause pain on one or both sides of your abdomen."

It feels like a stabbing pain when I get up from sitting too fast, or when bend over and stand up too fast. This didn't happen until later in my last pregnancy, though.
Does anyone know if it shows up sooner with each consecutive pregnancy?

Possibly me. I have had a couple of stitches in just the right area, usually when I am getting up or twisting while standing (i.e. to grab my two year old from something he shouldn't be into, LOL!). It seems early for it but a good friend of mine says she remembers getting it early on in her second pregnancy as well.

I don't know if I've had that or not. I've had pinching feelings in/around my uterus, some cramps, some stabbing pains, including in my vagina it feels like. I just thought it was the uterus growing and stretching.

I've also had feelings that *feel* like fetal movement. I know that is absolutely not possible, but it's weird. Like something is bumping. Best I can figure is my uterus is doing some major organization or something in there.

Oh, and I think I may be getting the round ligament pain as well. Since this is my 1st I wasn't sure what it was, but it makes sense. Not really painful, but a strange feeling. :shy I didn't realize I would 'feel' stuff so early on, so it's pretty cool!

I've been getting the round ligament pain too! I don't remember getting it this early last time either. It's been happening since before my BFP. CRAZY!!! I tend to jump up out of my recliner a little too fast and it just seizes me!

May 8th here. Although my midwives are using May 10th (I think they're fudging just in case I go late - midwifery here is paid for by the provincial health system, but is also heavily regulated and at 42 weeks I believe you risk out of homebirth, although I'm not positive about that - and DD was born a couple of days early so the odds of going late are lower anyway, not that I'm relying on that!).

I'm still nursing my 25 month old, although it's only a few times a day, for a few seconds (except in the morning -- that lasts maybe a few minutes :lol). All by her choice, and has been this way for a while. I'm curious to see what happens as the pg progresses ...
