Trying to pay for a co op and I don't want to use the funded (its for something else) I have and want to pay with a different source. I can't figure out how to have it not take a portion of the total out with the funded. Anyone???

I am almost positive that you have to use the funded if it's there. I know I had to transfer it into my checking account before it would allow me to use a credit card:(

When you review the payment before finalizing it and hitting "Send Payment", you'll see something like
Payment Method:
PayPal Balance: $15.00 USD
More Funding Options
"More Funding Options" will be a link and you can change to your CC backup if you want to.

If you do this you should be able to change it to use your cc or bank account instead of funded.

I don't think it's possible- unless you have more than one PP account.

If possible I suggest paying for whatever needs funded paypal first, that way you can choose whatever payment method you want for the other one.

This is what you do... no need for a seconf PP account, trust me, click on that "more options" link and tell them where you want the $$ to come from... a checking account, a credit card on file, etc. I do it ALL the time, keep my PP balanace for other fun stuff and use my debit card for pre budgetted items.

Hmmm ... I did that recently and it still didn't work. I chose the credit card that I wanted to pay with, but it still ended up defaulting back to the paypal balance. I finally transferred my entire paypal balance to another account, paid with the credit card, and then did a refund from the second account. It is a bit of a pain though.
