You could PM one of the mods and ask. That's what one of the April DDC did--I don't know if it sped things up any, but it can't hurt :).

Now Jacque has a PM too... lets see how long it takes us to get our DDC.
Now I climb down off my :soapbox and stop speaking for us all, I think.

Jacque is not generally around weekends, so she might not get the PM til tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday as tomorrow is a holiday. Just an FYI. ;)

:shrug I already PM'ed last week. But it was still August.
Gotta think of it this way: Yes it sucks to wait and wait for the DDC to go up. But, we're all early May'ers (or end of April'ers, like me). We won't likely be having to sit around in May and watch everyone else have babes while we are still knocked up into June! I'd rather wait now than then, personally.
Silver lining and all...

:lol Well maybe it's different for me because *technically* I am still due in April (30th), so I actually could join that board and be posting right now. But I don't want the mind*&#$ of posting there when I *know* this baby will be a May baby.
So I am actively choosing to not have a board right now, as much as I want to talk to you all about every little thing!

:lol I'm just being greedy and posting in both. If the babies-being-born in April get to be too much, I'll go 100% May, but until then, I'll be a DDC "loose woman."

And BTW, you know what is sad? I popped over to BZ and checked out their DDC, because that is where my first DDC with DS was, and we are more active then they are, even without a board of our own. We really need to get our DDC up, because we have too much to talk about.
and Oh, Can it possibly be normal to crave (and Eat) dinner at 10 in the morning, then have luch at regular time? and I am losing weight still. I dind't crave this early last time.
Now see, we need our board so we can talk about that, lol.

My cravings are EXTREME already! Tabasco & Avacado, Green Bell Pepper Pizza, Veggie Quesadillas (nearly everyday for lunch), Spicy Refried Bean and Cheese Quesadillas, Red Bell Peppers by themselves, etc. If I eat junk, I feel SO sick!!! We had wings and fried crap last night for dinner and I felt SO bad!!! Sick and Guilty!!! : )

Ummm, about dinner for breakfast...I had fettucine alfredo for breakfast, and I'm getting hungry again....I hope this doesn't ruin my plans to gain only 25 lbs.

MamaJ, i've been craving mexican food too! Damn, I really want a burrito right now.....I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do, because it's pretty early in the pregnancy and I'm already wanting to like eat everything on the planet. I plan on using a midwife ( the one from House of Babies, she's infamous around MDC ) and I've read that she really gets on you about the weight gain.
MamaJ2005
09-04-2007, 12:26 PM
That is SO SO SO awesome about your midwife!!! I love that show! Have you had Bearitos brand Spicy Refried beans??? (In the natural, organic section) They are the bomb!!! I put them on a honey whole wheat tortilla with a little bit of cheese and OMG!!! They are so YUM!!! Another thing I made today was Green Bell Pepper and Cheese Quesadilla. I don't use too much cheese to make them, so they're healthy. Oh, and I toast them in a skillet w/o butter or oil. I totally craved Mexican with my last pregnancy too! I am so hoping I don't gain 70 pounds like last time, but MAN, is food GOOD!

did I say dinner for breakfast? Nope.. I ate breakfast at 8am, then dinner at 10, then lunch at 12:30... and I have lost 1.5 pounds in the last day, and 5 in the last week. Last time, I lost 30+ pounds before gaining any back in the third trimester. I weighed less than pre-preg weight three days after he was born. Now if only I could have kept it off... between then and now, I went riht back up to my highest weight... (230 was highest) and now I am at 220. Really hoping to lose weight agian this time, but don't know how that will work if I am eating whole meals for snacks, lol.

I have a few symptoms but I feel the same...shouldn't I be feeling more by now? I was with my first pregnancy. Last night I was bone tired and my stomach felt off (I wouldn't call it full out nausea)...tonight I am feeling fine! My symptoms seem to be coming and going alot this time. Makes me paranoid as well. Although, the sore nipples appear to be the one constant, so that's something I suppose.

Angela, just wanted to pop in and say right now I am feeling this constant empty feeling like I need to put food in my stomach, but I also have no nausea, no sore boobs, no skin break outs like with my last 2 pregnancies. It's really freaky :dizzy:

:nod
I tend to be kind of hungry anyway :o, and have noticed that it has only ticked up a notch. With dd, I was so hungry I felt like my insides were being clawed out, and I really don't have that feeling now. I was also horrifically nauseous with dd (definitely by this time in the pg), and aside from a few mild waves of nausea yesterday and today, I'm feeling fine. My nipples are a little more tender during nursing, but no other breast pain besides that (with dd if someone breathed on my boobs I about passed out from the pain :lol). And other than being dog-tired (which probably has more to do with my raging insomnia and dd's unwillingness to take a nap :hammer), I feel downright, shockingly normal :o. I do have a sense of "fullness" in my womb, though, which is a comforting reminder that I'm not alone .
But I get a little paranoid occasionally, although I try to just think positive and assume the baby will stick and maybe this time around I won't feel rotten. Maybe? (Then again I haven't yet reached the 6 week mark, which is when the "experts" say m/s kicks in, so ...)
