pregnancy after giving birth

Okay- I do not know that I am but for some reason feel I may be. We did not use protection, to be honest I had no intention of doing anything but dh insisted then I got caught up in it. I am just now 6wks pp, it happened at 3wks pp. If it has happened when could I take a test or will my dr be able to tell next Mon at my apt? Anyone had this happen??

Quick question: Are you breastfeeding? If so, you should be well protected at 6w pp from conceiving. I'm not sure how the body recuperates after birth if you are not breastfeeding. It seems like many do get pregnant soon after, so I am sure ovulation is possible! I hope it turns out the way you want it to!

No, I had twins and it didn't work for us. I wish I was breastfeading. I guess I will just wait and see.

If you DTD 3 weeks ago, you should see a positive pregnancy test by now if you are indeed pregnant. Even if the sperm survived 6 days and you ovulated 6 days after you had sex, then you'd be at least 2 weeks past ovulation and should see a + on a pg test. HTH.

I became pregnant about 5 months after my dd was born and about 9 months after my ds was born. I was breastfeeding. Has it been 6 wks since you gave birth? I know 2 women who were breastfeeding and was pregnant at their 6 wk check up. Usually if you think you are, you usually are. I knew with my last 2 pregnancies that I was pregnant.

I am currently 11 weeks PP and I got a BFP, this past weekend!!! I did have a period at exactly 6 weeks PP(I am BFing even)
So if I go by that period I am 5 weeks preggers :dizzy:

I got my period today! I don't think I have ever been happy to say that.
