Annapolis, MD mama looking for like-minded friends

Greetings!

I am a 29 year-old mama of two boys (2 and 4) and I am pregnant with my third, due in August. I am planning a home water birth, like I had with both my boys.

I am relatively new to the area, having come from Portland, Oregon. I am looking to meet like-minded mamas with youth for my children to get to know.

My partner and I are vegan, raw food advocates and eat oragnically. We live a holistic lifestyle and do not drink alcohol, use drugs or smoke cigarettes.

I am homeschooling/unschooling my youth and we avoid TV/VCR influences.

Are there any other mothers in the Annapolis/Baltimore/DC area like me?

Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis is always easy for us.

FLUTTERBYE (I think that's how you spell her user name, I guess she knows you too cortney :wink), lives on the Eastern shore and we are going try to go to Assateague once a week. If you want to drive that far.

I am always up for meeting new mamas and babes! Lately, setting things up and meeting hasn't been so easy. Another mama from this forum and I are interested in setting up a camping trip. Anyone interested? Oh, my son and I are also a vegan, unschooling, seldem T.V. watching family. Courtney, do you, or anyone else want to meet at a park?

I'm interested in meeting at Quiet Waters, too. Mallory, we've met at the Children's museum a couple of times. (Sorry the playgroup thing didn't pan out.) Our family is a bit more mainstream, I guess but we are a vegetarian, Waldorf-influenced (we are involved in a beginning Waldorf school here in Annapolis!), limited-TV family. My girls are 2 and 4. Keep me posted!:)
