Ever since I woke up this morning my stomach hasn't felt quite right. I was hungry, so I figured all I needed was some food in me, but now that I’ve eaten I still feel off… I’ve got just the slightest touch of queasiness, that bottom lip quivering blech feeling… If that makes any sense :p
Morning sickness didn’t kick in for a while with DS, probably like 7 weeks or so. I’m only 5 weeks and 5 days right now. Yay! Fun stuff.
I’m hoping that I at least have m/s like I did with DS. Nauseous much of the time but I never threw up once. I HATE to throw up :(

Welcome to the party. Barf bags are on the table next to the saltines, and there's ginger ale (DON'T BE STEALING MY DR PEPPERS!) in the cooler.

stuff that might help:
b complex vitamin
ginger - Stewart's Ginger Beer is awesome stuff to sip on.
lemon/citrus anything
ice cold water
stick your head in the freezer (yeah, weird, but the shock of cold air helps one not puke)
Sea bands (they're for seasickness)
eat small meals often - just a bite or two of something every 20 minutes can help - good snacks, like protein.
saltine crackers work for some (those always made me gag)
that's all i can think of off the top of my head right now. i'm sure others will add to the list. :)
oh, RRL tea - some think it works great for reducing nausea. personally, i don't touch the stuff til 15 weeks. (I have hx of m/c and don't risk it til solidly in second trimester)

Ooh, I find that just smelling peppermint tea helps. It doesn't get rid of it, but for a wee bit, my tummy settles.
Just call me the tea huffer. :lol

I have been icky for the last few days too... worked too hard on thursday.
I got the Preggy Pops bite candies and they have seemed to help when I used them. They use oils.
I also grabbed a Revive Vitamin Water the other day and sipped it on ice and felt soooo much better. Of course it has a bunch of Vit B's in it..so I think that was the main reason.
Of course Mythbusters say ginger is the best for seasickness..so I'm wanting to try that option.
Hang in there gals!!

yeah I'm getting some too, but thrilled about it. I consider it a sign my hormones are gearing up. Right now it just consist of a bunch of burping and I can taste the last thing I ate for hours! Did I also mention the mad preggo gas. (yeah, I feel sexy:lol )

Yeah, m/s is here. I had NO idea, really. I feel totally useless most of the day. Diahrrea and dry heaves. Peppermint tea helps some. Ginger cookies do not. Saltines don't help either. I can't figure out what to eat, I just don't ever WANT to eat, even though I feel a little better afterwards.
B-vitamins, huh? I'll have to make sure not to miss my supplement, in that case... And I think I have some sea-bands around here somewhere.
I have no idea how working moms with kids do this, I can barely make it to work in the morning. I'm 6wks2days. Probably 6-7 more weeks of this. It is...daunting...

M/S has crept up on me over the last few days...It starts around breakfast and ends...well, actually I still feel sick and it's almost 10PM. I never vomited with my ds, so hopefully I won't with this baby either...
I know!! 6-7 more weeks does sound daunting, although I am very thankful that my hormones seem to be increasing...

So is m/s a sign that hormones are working well? I hope so cos mine just started today, and only yesterday I was happily writing on another thread that I didn't have many symptoms yet:lol I also didn't actually vomit with my daughter's pregnancy so I hope not this time either. Its been coming and going all day in waves, and today I didn't eat for a 5-hour stretch cos nothing appealed. Not good! Hope everyone feels a bit better tomorrow.
I've been nauseated since 10 DPO, and it's only getting worse. I've had dry heaves a couple of times, but haven't actually thrown up. I almost wish I would just throw up, then I might not be nauseated for at least a few minutes afterwards.
I'm having so much trouble eating anything. Three bites in I want to throw up. And this is actually better than things were with my first - with her, by 5 weeks I was throwing up every morning, by 6 I was on medication to control it (and had to stay on it for 6 months). So just intense nausea is actually an improvement...
