I saw this too late, but yes my wife, our newborn and I were there this summer. It was a great festival, but that bright sun was hard work to keep the baby out of.

I used to attend the Falcon Ridge Folk festival! I really wanted to this year and prob could have shown up but I used to camp over the 4 days and so I'd rather wait until I feel ready to camp with my son there. He isn't at the age of a music attention span yet:( But I love Dar so much I may just pop up for her next summer

How old is your child?

We've taken Drew, my son, last year when he was six weeks, and this year at 13 months. I think next year is going to be the big challenge!! So far it's worked fine.

Are you Holly's sister? I remember her telling me you brought him when he was a newborn. My son is 20 months

I am Holly's friend karen. We bumped into you guys one year at the folk festival pre kids and said hello. My maiden name is Elcik, but I am now Karen Young.
So Drew did well at the festivals? Ryan wouldn't have sat still for the music

He did fine. Of course the first year he wasn't mobile, so the big change was that we had to work hard on getting shade, and we couldn't expect to get to every event we wanted - sometimes we had to just sit and let him nurse.

This year he is mobile, crawling a lot, and he certainly didn't sit still but he would crawl around and play on the blankets. We just made sure to sit where there was a little more room so he wouldn't be bothering everyone. He didnt pay much attention to the music but we could listen while we entertained him.
