Non-US moms - asking for your thoughts on America and circumcision

Just thought I'd post this link here:

This thread is asking for the reaction of non-US moms to the practice of RIC (routine infant circumcision). Approximately 55-60% of American newborn boys are circumcised in the hospital before going home.

What are your thoughts/reactions to this? If you could post them on the other thread, that would be very much appreciated!
