for a boy we are thinking Oliver Madden
and for a girl we love Olivia Rose even though Olivia is in the top ten list..and i don't usually go for popular names.. i just love it too much

I've thought about it, but we won't make any decisions for awhile. Probably not until after we know if it's a girl or a boy. Olivia's nice. I wouldn't have thought that was a top ten name though. Wierd.

I'm with you! I absolutely love Olivia and also cannot believe it's in the top 10. I honestly don't know anyone with the name Olivia! We're compromsing and our two top runners for girls right now are Olly (I may break down and officially use the name Olivia, but always call her Olly) and Apollonia (AKA "Apple"). A boy will definitely be Kasdan - a name we've held onto for more than 11 years and haven't yet used (even though we've had 2 boys).

Right now I'm liking Audrey and Norah for girls. I imagine that will change, though. :lol And if this one is a boy, we're SOL because we used the only boy name I like for my son. :lol

We've known names before we even got married. My DH has always wanted his first child to be named after the uncle who donated a kidney to his mother when she was dying of kidney failure. He figures he wouldn't be around if his uncle hadn't done that. Unfortuantely his uncle died last fall and won't get to see his namesake.

If it is a boy it will be Alan Scott, a girl will be Alyn Marie.

My first daughter's middle name is Marie, as is mine and my mother's so I want to carry that on.

I haven't even begun to think about boy names. I do have a few girl names I like though- Talula and Tabitha, DH doesn't like them though.

I am sure it will be another boy though. My body isn't a suitable environment for girls sperm- they die at the door.

We've talked very little about names. We talked more about it before we found out we were expecting again. We still like Wednesday for a girl. We've had a debate on boy names. He once suggested Ion, really? It just doesn't go with Ryan at all to me. We did just agree if we have another boy we will use James as a middle name, after my dad. :)

I'm a planner, I *have* to have my names figured out as soon as possible. Thankfully, we had this figured out a few months ago before I suffered the m/c.

SO

for a girl it's going to be Zoey Rayne
for a boy it's going to be River Jericho or River Jonas

:)

Such cute names. I love Zoey Rayne.

We always wait till after the birth to name the baby. While the baby is in the womb though we give him/her names. My DD had a masculine name Wajil Hussain which meant "The Face of Hussain" and this baby has the name Noor al Yaqeen meaning the "Light of Certainty (about God/Life)". It is more feminine... maybe I'll have a boy then? :lol

ooooh .... loving the name conversation. all are very cute and original. I too LOVE Olivia but we've got tons around here and two very close friends have daughters with that name....This area is probably whats driving the name into the top ten!
I have no clue for either gender. I was definitely going to use Tessa if it was a girl but my SIL and BIL just named their daughter that. I was a little miffed since they knew it was one of my top 3 for my first pregnancy (and they never discussed it before she gave birth just: It's a girl! Tessa!). Am I normal or just a total b*tch????
Oh well. Keep posting b/c I love this stuff!

We are thinking Israel for a boy and Italia for a girl- still up in the air about the middle names, I like to use 2 and am just not sure what fits yet.

I like Lily for a girl, but DP just informed me that he doesn't like that. I could only think of DS's name for a boy, so I really don't know!

I like Jacob for a boy, and we like Jenna or Gabrielle for a girl, definately not set though. If we have a girl I want her middle name to be Marion for my grandma though

DH wants Denali to be the first name - no matter what the babe is, boy or girl....
I do kind of like that - but think I would prefer Novah if it should happen to be a girl.

Plus, DS's name starts with a "D" and I've got this funny thing about having children whose names start with the same letter....

We've completly changed names.. hah.
and i'm sure we will again, but right now we are thinking of

Eleanor and Aiden

both family names
Eleanor was my great great aunt that i was very close to for awhile before she passed away when i was 9
and
Aiden was my uncle whom i had never met that was stabbed to death 4 years ago in his bathtub. It's a unsolved case.

not so sure about middle names though

Suddenly my dh doesn't want to name it River if it's a boy!!

So I've been a bit freaking about finding a new name, which has been impossible. We don't agree on anything!

We've agreed on Lila (/leela/) if it's a girl.

I really like Turner for a boy but DH does not. he likes Harrison which i like but i hate it with Jackson (our son's name) because they both end in SON, i feel like we would be stuck with WilSON, AnderSON, ect.
