So, yesterday afternoon, my husband tells me that he "forgot to do something in town" and, despite my probing questions, refused to tell me where he was going. He was gone for 2 hours....and came home, all nonchalant, acting like he didn't go anywhere.
I was nagging and trying to figure out just where the heck he was, and he finally asked me, hon, what's the date? I said, it's October 14th. Why? And he gets this smug look on his face (and I'm trying to figure out what the heck is going on).....and he says "You forgot!!" "I forgot WHAT?" "our anniversary!!"
uhhh, dear, our anniversary is DECEMBER 15th. Not October 14th. :lol
So he slinks out to the car all sheepish like and brings in a diamond heart necklace and a card that plays Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line"...(our song)
I about died laughing.....but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?:laugh:
