Spotting

In my other thread I said I had taken a FRER yesterday and it was negative. Then today I started spotting so I'm assuming this is the beginning of a m/c. I'm sad but last night I think I came to terms with it. I don't have a doc/midwife yet, should I go see one anyway? I usually just go to planned parenthood for yearly's and stuff.

No, I wouldn't go to a provider unless you need something from them. It's better for your body to do its own thing than to have someone do it for you (like a D&C) - so if you're doing ok, just hang in there.

I agree with BirthFree. Right now you need emotional support more than physical support. If your intuition is telling you to go in, then by all means, go in. Otherwise if it was me, I would just stay close to family and grieve on my own time.

:hug, I'm sorry. I agree - you were so early that you shouldn't need to see anybody. If you do go in, there's not much they can do except a d&c and I'm not even sure they would do one at this point.

Thanks everyone. I"m still waiting for something to happen. I just wish it would hurry up and get over with if that is what is going on. This not knowing is killing me.

Oh, Sara, I'm so sorry. I agree that letting your body do its thing is important. But I'd also add that if you're feeling iffy, maybe you can find somebody to "prescribe" (I don't know if that's the right word) a blood draw for HcG in a couple of weeks, just to make sure that it's down to (nearly) nothing. That would confirm that everything is complete.
