View Full Version : My toddler is sick and I am SO TIRED

My 2 year is very ill. He has a viral infection which has caused around 50 cold sores to develop in his mouth. He hasn't eaten since Saterday and hasn't slept more than 45mins in 2 days. He is on meds now, antivirals and pain meds....hopefully they work because if he doesn't start eating by tomorrow night I have to take him to be admitted for intervenous feeding.
I am so stressed and so freaking tired. I am having horrible fatigue and the worry is affecting my appetite. Just needed to vent a bit. Now off to try and nap. Gave ds some codene so hopefully he sleeps a couple of hours.

oh my! I was going to post about my whole family being sick with a nasty cold, but now I will just send your family healing energy and I hope you get some rest! I can say that it is no fun being prego and dealing with:fever:. Hope your son gets better soon!

He is feeling much better today. The antivirals kick in fast. He has eaten yogurt and soup and a popcicle today and drank some juice and milk. He slept better last night too. Hopefully tomorrow he will be back to normal.
