I tested + on Saturday afternoon, a faint positive, but it came up right away.
We were not planning more children and were done, so this is a shock. I tested again Sunday morning, same result. So, I still wasn't done. I tested this morning (Monday) and got a faint +. A clearblue easy digital was negative. I went to my Dr appt to get NuvaRing birth control and she tested me with a faint + and because I was getting my TSH (I have hypothyroidism) checked, she ordered a blood test too...

So, has anyone else experienced faint positives? What about a negative with the digital test?

I wasn't expecting to be pregnant, but now I want to be... HELP!

That's really weird about the digital...With my chemical pregnancy, I had a faint positive, then 4 days later a definite positve, then 4 days later a negative. You've already had so many positives, I know they are faint, but they've got to be accurate, there are no false positives. When will you know about the blood test?

In my experience the digital test is not super sensitive. It could just be too early for the digital to pick it up. I hope you get the result you want!

My Dr said the result would be back to her tomorrow before 4pm but the lab told me that they may be a bit behind and it may not be til Wednesday morning. In my experience the lab always says that are then the Dr is right...

The digital tests are not as sensitive. I have had that happen the last two pregnancies.

I started to bleed this morning. Perhaps that 5th child will join our family one day, if it is meant to be...

:hug FWIW, with my second pregnancy - which resulted in our first child - i never did get a nice strong positive, and i bled a bit in the 5th week. so it's possible...

I have heard that the digitals aren't as senstive I guess cause it has to reach a certain level first. oh and FWIW I had 2 very very faints with DD2 and one NEG blood test if you can believe that.

Well, I bled from morning of Wednesday until Friday late evening. Is it possible to still be pregnant? I didn't get a hcg test again, I didn't see a point as I assumed I was miscarrying... I dunno, maybe I should retest? Or get that blood draw...

I've bled in every one of my pregnancies, and have 2 kids to show for it. :hug I'm sorry you're going through this.

I would actually do the blood draw thing. Just so you can know. It could really go either way. Especially if it was light bleeding and not clotts and extream pain. ~hugs~

I'm so sorry mama. :hug

I would probably go ahead and get the blood draw and be pleasantly surprised that everything is OK, or at least have closure. KWIM? I'm so sorry you have to go through this.
