Its making me crazy!! Its just been that light crampiness for one week now. My MW told me if it lasts two weeks, to call her back. One week seems long enough. So I called today for HcG and progesterone levels....I need some kind of reassurance. I dont remember feeling crampy with my last two, so I'm on edge...anyone else in this boat??? My MW did say that she feels its implantation cramping... I really hope it is...

How many weeks are you? I am just 5 (i think) weeks today and was still getting slight cramping....now it has turned more into a round ligament pain....but every pregnancy is different...I didn't have ANY cramping at all with my other 4 pregnancies, so I didn't even think I was preggo this time! :lol
I know what you mean about the reasurrance thing! My m/w told me I could wait till 14 weeks to come in, but I just can't wait so I am going in at 10 weeks because that is the earliest she will try to find a heartbeat.
I hope everything is fine and I am sure it will be. :hug

I had awful cramping the first month of my pregnancy with my son. It felt *exactly* like period cramps. That, combined with some extra...uh...dampness... it had me literally checking every hour or two to see if I was getting my period.
Same thing so far with this pregnancy. I hate it!

It could be a corpus luteum (sp?) forming. This is a benign cyst that forms in the ovary in early pregnancy that helps sustain the pregnancy.

I'm on the same cramping boat with you. I told my m/w over the phone and her silence concerened me a bit, and then she said just take it easy.. I think that was her nice way of saying.. "hmmm. be careful"
but reading all these posts makes me feel a whole lot better about it, just to know that we're feeling the same thing and that other women have gone on to have their babies with cramping in the beginning.

yes, my cramps aren't "aweful" but the dampness is there. Is anyone else getting a lot of CF still (mine seems like a sticky/stretchy -combo)

I've had cramps in all my pregnancies and was told it was the uterus stretching. :shrug I don't worry about it anymore.

I always get cramping. That's actually how I knew I was pregnant. I even get crampy later on in my first trimester as my uterus grew.
