We may visit next year. What is the weather like in Feb or March? We want a sunny getaway. Would this be a good choice or any other spots in italy that would be better. TIA!!

I'm sorry, I don't know how the weather will be at that time of year, but I do know that if you are going to Ischia, you must go to Giardini Poseidon. http://www.giardiniposeidon.it/uk/index.html
We went to Ischia a few years ago and for me, Giardini Poseidon is my version of Paradise!
Have fun!

We have been there twice, both times in the summer, and loved it. I would not go there in Feb-March unless you are interested in trying out the indoor thermal spas there but normally children are not allowed to use them so it would be better for a holiday without the kids.

I spent almost a week in Ischia in late november '05. IT was fantastic The weather was warm enough to go without a coat. It is truly a beautiful island. I cannot really recommend activities for a family, except maybe rent a moped if possible and tour the island. I was single and childless and living as an aupair in Italy. I went to Ischia while my au pair family was on vacation somewhere else.
I imagine the weather in the early part of the year would also be fairly mild.
