#2 for us, dd is 12. I used to want all girls because I know nothing about boys. but I've finally come around and actually want a boy or two -- and am already certain we're having a boy, but I guess it's a little early for those feelings.

#3 for us too!

My DD's are almost 5 and 18 mo. A boy would be great and would also be the first on my side of the family. The guys all marry in. 3 girls is great too! I have 2 sisters and no brothers. DH is already saying she!:lol

I'm hoping for a boy because we picked a boy name and a girl name last time. The girl name was, of course, used for my daughter. So, if we have another girl it's back to the drawing board!

I'm only sort of kidding.

#3 here. We have a boy and a girl, and I'll be happy with either this time. I'd love a girl because I love all the clothes I have :duck: and I'd love a boy because that would be the second intact male on either side of the family (out of both my dad and FIL, my brother, DH's 2 brothers, my 7 nephews, and DH's 2 nephews.) The world needs more intact men.

Yeah, I feel like I'm lucky to have had 3 boys for that reason. The one thing I hated about my second son's playgroup was that he was the ONLY boy (except for the 1 girl) who wasn't cut :( .

#3 for us! We have 2 girls, 3 and almost 15 mos. Dh REALLY wants a boy but I don't know if that's going to happen. I had 2 miscarriages prior to dd1...the first one was a girl and the second pregnancy was twins and they were both girls!! :lol

Lol!!! I'm preparing for the shocked comments myself (this is #6)... not sure how I'll handle it. I haven't even told my parents yet.

#5 here. We have four dds: 7, 5, 3, and 1. A little boy would be spoiled rotten by all his sisters so maybe another girl would be better. ;)

I think dh could use another male in the house, though. :p

If we have a boy, he'd be joining the ranks of intact males on my side. My paternal grandpa apparently thought the circumcision nonsense in the '50s was exactly that and none of his sons are circ'd, nor are theirs. So I've got four intact brothers and an intact nephew. :D Sadly, my sister circ'd her two boys because my BIL wanted them to "match" him. :irked:

Dh is circ'd, but his younger brother is intact due to his MIL learning more in between their births and realizing that there was no sane reason to do it. He was also born in a freestanding birth center.

If I can convince this baby to stick, he or she will be #2. We're also hoping for a boy, but will be happy with any gender!

#4 here too, lots of people expecting their 4th.

I have 2 dd's Emma is 5 and Elizabeth is 19 months, and 1 ds Anthony who is 3. My dh is hoping for a second boy to even things out, I don't care either way. A friend of ours suggested that it is 1 of each....:irked: I don't think so, not quite ready for twins.

Sounds like me! This is #3 for us, a big surprise. I also have a 38 month old DS and a 16 month old DD. They're both still nursing, though I'm not sure if the oldest will nurse all the way through again or not.

#3 here, too. Dd is 8 and ds is 3. I really don't care if this one's a boy or a girl. 1 of each would be even nicer. :lol

This is #1 for us. We're praying for a girl! There's not very many girls on mine or DH's side of the family. Plus we'd like a girl to be the oldest.

# 3 for us. ds1 is 32 months and ds2 is 20 months. it'd be nice to have a girl just cause that something we haven't experienced yet (and cause i feel so outnumbered by all the males, lol.) but i do love having boys.

I think I am having boy vibes. I'm wishy washy on which one I want most.

#8 for us as we have 3 earthside and 4 heavenside.

#4 with fingers crossed that this little one joins us earthside after a good baking!!!

It is odd...whenever I look at a digital clock/watch, I have (for as long back as I can remember) always seemed to catch the time 12:34 at least once a day. It isn't because I look for it, it just seems to happen. Like a digital message from God. Tee hee!

I can't imagine our family without a fourth, it just wouldn't be complete!

Well, I have never been in an MDC DDC before. So I guess I will have to just jump right in.

This is my #9. I lost my #8 last year, so I guess I am a bit hesitant to say anything and to get my hopes up to high. I have not even POAS yet. But all the symptoms are there. Plan on testing tomorrow. Looks like the EDD will be end of July. But since I tend to go a bit late, it could slip into very early August. With my record, I will probably be the last one expecting come July 31.

I have #1, Sarah-17; #2, Jessica-13; #3, Seth-11; #4, Hannah-10; #5, Nathaniel-7; #6, Gabbie-forever 4-was lost last year as well; #7, Gideon-3; & #8, Zephaniah-born still at 18wks.

#6 for me. The first 3 live with their dad, my ex, in West Virginia (I am in Texas) and then 4 and 5 live with me and my current husband... this will be his 6th, too, our 3rd together.

Mine are g-b-g-b-g.... so if I follow the pattern, I guess this will be a boy. But judging by the symptoms, I'm leaning toward girl. Which will put DH at 3 and 3, and put me at 4 girls, 2 boys... if I'm right, which we won't know until next July....

Of course, the symptoms might just seem worse because it's harder to be a working preggo mom at almost-34 than it is to be a SAH-preggo mom at 22.

I'm not preferential either way... boy or girl, doesn't matter, just be healthy and don't take 5 days of labor to get here like your big sister did...

Sorry veganf! I didn't see this poll... didn't mean to make a duplicate.

No problem.
So many people answered the poll already it seemed like we had a pretty good representation of our group going, so I thought I'd bump it.
