ok...you would think that after 2 kids I wouldn't be so paranoid but....I just stretched not thinking I put my arms up over my head and just took a deep breath.....and now I am having some sharp pains, lower down and some (most) high up in my abdomen.

Has anyone had this happen? BTW does anyone know when the placenta attaches and starts to grow? Now I am freaked out I dislodged it or something and now I'll have a low lying placenta! :lol

I know, I know I am overreacting and being silly but I just blame it on being pregnant! :lol

sounds like round ligament pain. which is completely normal.

yep, pretty normal. I had it happen the night before I tested and a few times since, yowch! I'm trying to avoid stretching like a cat for now.

Yeah, I've had the same thing happen the last couple of days. I don't think it would be very easy to dislodge anything anyway, as the baby is only a couple of millimetres in size at this point.

Last night I had some mild pain in what seemed like my right fallopian tube, but this morning I'm feeling the same thing on the left. So I'm thinking that round ligament pain is starting up, and have stopped worrying so much.

Yep, I did that when I stretched out in bed the other night. Left me curled in a fetal position, swearing I'd never move again.
The placenta starts to form right after implantation, so it's been there in some capacity all along. I don't htink it's really fully functional for another month or so yet, because there is still the yolk sac to feed the baby. But don't quote me on that :lol Either way, I don't think you did any damage, at least not permanently.

This what was on my pregnancy weekly tracker thing. This is about week 5... "The placenta, which will provide nourishment to your developing baby later in your pregnancy, is not yet formed. Right now your baby is nourished from you via hundreds of tiny "roots" that cover the amniotic sac. The nourishment is channeled from you to your baby from these roots through a stalk that will become the umbilical cord. The placenta will begin its development this week. It will form in the site that the fertilized egg attached to the lining of your uterus at the time of implantation. A bulge is developing where your baby's heart will be and the blood vessels are growing into place. "

So no placenta just yet for some of us. Anyway, the sharp pains come from teh ligaments that support the uterus. I'm sure you're fine OP. If you' d done damage, I'd imagine you'd be screaming bloody murder.
