Calling all Burlington-area moms!

We are moving to Fairfax, VT (north of B'ton) late next month and I am interested in meeting other like-minded mamas! We have an 8-month old daughter....DH is the SAHD and I'm a WAHM....we babywear, cosleep, bf (plan to do child-led weaning), use cloth diapers and try to eat healthfully (although we are not vegetarian or vegan, but we do eat very little meat). Do you hear it? Yes, it's us making crunchy sounds.

I would also love to join/start a book discussion group, playgroup, rotating dinner group (that is, you rotate who hosts the dinner...the dinner does not spin!), and find other SAHDs that DH can hang out with.

HI there,

We are south of Burlington by 30 minutes so we are a little too far away to participate in any groups out in Fairfax. Anyway, I thought I would post to let you know that the burlington La Leche crew is great-they meet every wednesday (I believe) at the free library downtown in burlington. Also, most small towns have play groups that occur at either churches or schools during the school year. I think you will have no problems finding other like minded momma's in the area. THere are a lot of us out there:)

Thanks! I figured VT would have no shortage of crunchy mamas...I just wanted to send up a signal, of sorts. we are moving in less than 3 weeks and really looking forward to it!!
