what PP BC are you planning ??????

I tried the mini pill with T and saw a drop in milk -- so that is out

I am guessing we are stuck with rubbers ... which neither of us really like

I am allergice to sermicides

IUD????????

not going for anything surgical at this point ....

I thought about getting a diaphragm...but I think you need to use spermicides with those.

Otherwise we're using a combination of male factor infertility and possibly barrier methods. We have religious issues with hormonal birth control and non-hormonal IUD's so we'll suffer through with condoms...DH hates condoms so I'm still leaning toward a diaphragm.

Of course we have sever male factor infertility so we probably will rely on that. :lol

Abstinence for the time being, condoms for a while after that, and eventually, when I feel up to having my lady bits fiddled with, a non-hormonal IUD.

What about NFP?

I sooo don't want to think about this.

i don't really trust charting ..... we charted to GET theo and Charles .. and that alone showed me how wacky my O dates are with BF .....

also I am hopeing NOT to get AF back untill later, 7 weeks pp with T ... and that effects it too

wellll, I have a diaphram baby (yes I added extra spermicide) DS1, and a condom pregnancy (non spermicidal one).. and a NFP and withdraw baby DS3.. DS 2 was planned!! sooooo obviously BC is just NOT that effective on me (nor my other female relatives on my Mom's side.. ) sis and I are both diaphram babies (my mom was 40 with me!) and my sis had a BC termination as well as pg at 42 using barrier methods... soooooooo I am just never DTD again.. I swear... DH considering snip but I ma ot wild about it and neither is he.. I am not a fan of messing with mothr nature too much ... abstinence and voyerism that's my motto!

dh and I want to be somewhat open to God's planns for our family ... ie no snipping ... but at the same time we will not be TTC again (or so we say now, depends on the day you ask).

I admit i have a fantsy of one day going "oh wow i am 10 days late" and taking a test and it being pos (Ok that also goes on to be twin girls ... i am nuts, i know)

no more plotting and planning -- and thus i don't want to chart ... charting to get or to avaoid is still imo the same .... just so much less fun to chart to avaoid :(

We may try condoms for a while, look into an IUD, and then at some point "let go and let God" (that is doubtful at our ages ..........)

it is soooooooooooooo tough, we want more, more more, we want a big family. but DH is already 41 and I am 35 ....
