Normally we jsut stay home but this year with all the sewing (diapers, etc) I've been doing I need to restock on sewing supplies and Joann is having big sales. I dread going but really want 50% plus 20% off sewing machine needles and other odds and ends. And flannel is going to be 99 cents a yard, and I'm going to make my scrawny DS some boxers like his dada. Somebody tell me why no one makes 2T boxers.

I was once in New York, right in the heart of the city on Black Friday. I was hugely pregnant, and the sidewalks were shoulder to shoulder, from the wall of the stores all the way to the curb. It was crazy! As I crossed a sidestreet, a cab actually "nudged me" along with his effing bumper! A big pregnant lady!:dizzy:

If I was close with another female relative (boo hoo), I would probably dig it just for the sake of silliness. but now that I have gotten older, I get all freaked out. But I totally see how some people make coffee, chat all day and have a blast!:)

I don't go shopping on Black Friday. I used to work in jewerly retail many years ago and always hated Black Friday with the crowds at 6:30am, the pushy customers, and rush rush of everything. So now I ban shopping on that day....I don't even look at the sales cause it'll depress me. But to anyone who is going, have fun and hope you find some great sales!!
