When did you or do you plan to tell your family you are expecting? Iplan on waiting until after the holidays, so I would be 8-12 weeks, but my mom is a sharp one. LOL My family has expressed to me that i should not have anymore kids, because i have had so many losses. but we believe in leaving fertility up to God. My losses happened for a reason that i dont know, but i am certain they were necessary.
My mom tells me all the time that she worries about me, and that is why i should not have any more.

I dont want to tell my kids for a long time either, because they have been so much with the losses we have had. But they are smart kids, and i bet my 7 year old will figure it out. LOL I have told 3 friends and that is it... Afterall, i cant NOT talk about it LOL

So when do you announce??

We are planning on waiting until after the new year. Mid Jan would be 12 weeks and my SIL B-Day is the first week in January so we will probably tell everyone at her family dinner since everyone is around. (My husband has 3 siblings so it is hard to get everyone together except for special occasions.)

But they way I am growing they might already guess by then, I am barely 100lbs soaking wet so their is really no where to hide any sort of tummy:lol. Not to mention they know we are "trying". :duck:

Well, I just made my first OB appointment for Dec. 20 (8.5 weeks) (eeek!! that makes it so... official!), which was almost the only day she had open, and is perfect for us, since we're hoping to hear a heartbeat and spread the news on Christmas/New Year's. Other than you guys (and now the OB's receptionist, I guess :) ), nobody knows yet except me and DH--we didn't even let on that we were thinking of trying except to our very best friends, in rather indefinite ways--so I hope it will be a good surprise!! I don't have anywhere to hide a tummy either (especially the way I've been losing weight the past couple weeks), but since it's my first I don't think it will probably show before that, and bulky winter clothes can be a good cover, too.

We're telling my parents tonight. They've always said that 2 is enough, so I think it's going to be a 'hey, thanks for watching Keith, by the way we're pregnant, have a good evening' kind of fly by. I'd rather wait until, oh, July to tell them, but they live at the bottom of my street and we live in a small town, so SOMEONE would tell them if we didn't. Plus, my mom owns a coffee shop and the staff there guessed today that I'm pregnant, so we should probably tell them.
