So I never watch the Today show, but DD1 was at grandma's this am and DD1 and I were relaxing in front of the fire and I was half listening to it when a piece comes on about childhood obesity this am. They had a list on the screen of things that you can do to lower your child's risk and one was EBF for 6 months! :dizzy:Of course they didn't go over it on the air, but it's a start. :wink

This was also on the NBC nightly news "health segment". Dr. Nancy Schneiderman rambled off the list, saying now here's one that surprised us all: exclusivly breastfeeding for the first six months. I'm no Dr. Schneiderman fan, but good for her for saying this.
Hope people listen.

:thumb Yay!

Meredith had made it quite well know on the View that she nursed all 3 of her kids, so maybe she's having a positive influence, too?
