This is DC#3 for me and I don't remember being this crampy in the beginning with the other two. Makes me a bit nervous. Anyone else in the same boat?

Me :innocent
I've also been feeling really antsy for the last couple of days like AF is coming, unable to sleep, etc. I just don't know what to think right now.

jaclyn- ME TOO! I have been crampy, unable to sleep, ready to rip everyone's head off, and I'm so bloated that my pants already will not button. I didn't have to do the rubberband trick until I was 7 months with my other two! GAH!
gwerydd- Thanks for sharing though you're not in our DDC. It's comforting to know that these aren't all red flags that something is wrong!

This is #4 for me and I have had cramping with all of mine. It was the first clue I had this time.
It is completely normal and should go away hopefully in a few weeks.
HTH!!!
Congrats everyone!!!!!!

Me too! I've had a lot of lower back cramps that come and go. At first they really bothered me, and then they disappeared and I got worried! Ha...damned if you do damned if you don't. I do think that they are pretty normal though, and now when I feel them I say a little prayer for that little bean to burrow in deeper and deeper!

I'm in the July DDC, but just wanted to let you know that I went through the exact same thing at that point. Lots of cramps, and my stomach felt really tender.

So I guess the next question for us crampy ladies is when it is normal for them to go away? In the next few days? Few weeks? Should we expect them the entire 1st trimester? I didn't have cramps at all with DD so I just don't know.

Hope ya'll don't mind if I hang in your DDC too :innocent I'm due 8/24 but DD was due on the 25th and came on the 1st....
Anywho...I have a pregnancy calender from DD and I had cramping until my 12th week. I just looked at it and I noted "still have cramping but not painful about 2-4 x's per week still". I had pronounced "tendon" like pains on my left side still at that point too. My mw was surprised I was still cramping but I think it was because I had/still have a tipped uterus so things took longer to get in place.

That's really good to know! 12 weeks sounds like a long time, but I also have a tipped (retroverted) uterus. My period cramps have never been the same as what most women describe and I really think that does make a difference.

I felt crampy a few days ago, it was during the evening and into the next morning. It felt like a stomachache, and then it went away. It made me nervous, but it wasnt' a very intense pain so I tried not to worry.
