Wow, is it my turn already??? I totally missed this. :lol


My member name is inspired by the song, because of the line "Living is easy with eyes closed." I feel that way a lot, that sometimes I wonder HOW people can turn a blind eye to something or another that is really upsetting to me or close to my heart and I think that it must be it, that living is easy with eyes closed. Sometimes I wish that I was living with my eyes closed, too!! And I'm sure that I am in many arenas.

Strawberry Fields is my member name on every board I belong to and it's the ringer on my cell phone, too!! :D

This baby is supposedly a girl :love which makes me very excited because although I would be 100% happy with a boy, too, I was hoping for a girl this time. I am remaining cautious about it though because I have 2 friends who were told they were having girls and the babies turned out to be boys!

My holiday was great but very stressful as I am about 35 weeks pregnant now and we host a big open house on Christmas Day. So I have been scurrying about buying food and scrubbing floors and baking cakes and making dips and wrapping presents. I am so done with the holidays that I took down the tree and all the decorations first thing yesterday morning!! I want everything Christmas to be over so I can focus on my home visit this Wednesday and getting ready for the baby!

I have been married since May 1st, 2004, but dh and I have been together since 1999, when we were 17.

Great day to be married!! :lol Although it SNOWED on our wedding day in 2004 (just a little). It was freezing out and our pictures were in the park! Many a pic was taken with the bridesmaids wearing the groomsmen's tuxedo jackets!
