Mine is the 15th. It's at the on-site clinic where DH works. I asked him to find out if they do ultrasounds there, which they don't, but he went ahead and scheduled me an appointment anyway. I can't wait for my first ultrasound so I can find out for sure when my EDD is...I say September, my ticker says August. :eyesroll Which is what happened last time.

I go next Wednesday Jan. 2. It's very early.... I'll only be 5w1d according to my chart on FF. But I had the appointment anyway for my regular annual exam and to talk about pre-conception/fertility stuff, and lo and behold... here I am! The midwife said I could keep the appt anyway if I wanted.

I really need to talk to them anyway- I'm currently on 2 medications for depression and anxiety, so I need to get their opinions on that. My psych is very cool with doing whatever, so right now I just need a second opinion.

I'll let you all know how it goes!

Not yet, I haven't even called the midwife yet. I think I'll do it in sometime after the holidays have settled down.

This is my plan and I also like to wait until 8 weeks to make my appointments.

My 1st appt and ultrasound is Jan 10th. I will be a little over six weeks so I hope to see a heartbeast.

Belia- I am currently taking Effexor XR and I am finally starting to feel like myself again. When I called early this week my OB is out of town. The one on call wanted be to switch to Wellbutrin. I am just not sure how comfortable I am with that. I am really nervous about having a relapse. Would you mind sharing what info you receive at your appt?

Sorry for hijacking.:o

I don't go until the 17th. I really like the MW, but not the hospital, so I need to investigate more options.

Hey Pauletoy- Of course I'll share! I think I've been on just about every ant-depressant out there over the past few years. I had horrible reactions to Wellbutrin- completely anxious and jittery. I was a nervous wreck on it, but also horny as heck! :wink I'll let you know how it goes.

I called my mw today and got put on her calendar. I just :love my mw. I felt great just talking to her again. Right now, I'm just supposed to take my folic acid and call her if I have questions. She'll call to check up on me at the end of January, and my first appt will be around 13 weeks, when we can hear a heartbeat.

I don't get ultrasounds unless there is some other indication of a problem. I know I should probably do the fetoscope instead of the doppler, too, but I just really like hearing that heartbeat... and my mw is good about using the doppler for only a short time. :o

I have no idea how to approach this PG. I think we'll just wait till mid-February to make a decision on care providers. My last was homebirth, but because of all the VBAC :censored it's hard to find someone to attend me.

We've moved since my last birth and seeing our old M/W (who I love!) would mean driving an hour each direction for appointments. I don't know if I'm up for that!!

I had some blood drawn today to check progesterone levels, but my first appt. isn't until Jan 24th. I'll be around 7 weeks then. I'm still feeling so ambivialant about this pregnancy. After 2 miscarriages it's hard for me to get attached to something that I know could end at any time. So I really haven't been doing to much research about providers. I definitely don't want to use my same midwife as last time. Better get to work soon!!

My DH would loooove this side effect. I'm not telling him.

Thanks for letting me know what you find out.
