I can't wait for mine either! I don't have one booked yet, my first appt. is the 15th and then we'll go from there since I'll have to be referred to someone else. I'm not nervous, I'm so excited! After that I can get the ball rolling with everything else cuz this pregnancy will finally seem "real" to me. :shy

I'll get one at my appointment on the 17th. I can't wait to hear the heartbeat!!

I'm scheduled for a vaginal ultrasound on Jan 22- they say I should be able to hear a heartbeat by then! :) Yay!

I also have to have a diabetes test that day, too, because of problems my sister had in her pg and my weight. :( Boo!

I'm not usually a worrywart, really. But for some reason, for as long as I can remember, I've had this nagging feeling there would be something weird about me and getting pregnant. Like, way before I was in a position to actually think about having kids. So now that I'm pregnant, I'm like, "ok, so what's the weirdness gonna be?"

To top it off, my SIL said, almost immediately after we told her I was pregnant, "it's twins, I know it!" I keep telling myself she only said that because she and DH are twins. And DH can't possibly pass any twin-likelihood on to me. It just doesn't work that way. It doesn't. It doesn't. It's not possible. Not possible. Right? Arrgh!

But dammit, I'm dying to know for sure!!! My case worker says I will have my residency by the 12th at the latest. That feels so darn far away, and I can't even make the appointment until I have it. :(

Our first u/s is january 18th!! We are so excited!! I am taking the day off to attend and gloat the rest of the day. Hope all is great.

I'll be due for my first appt the first week of Feb. I'll make the appt on Monday -- so excited! I had a misscarriage 2 months ago, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that this wee one sticks!
