Good thing I checked this thread, I was about to give up at finding anyone in that area. We are not there yet, we will be arriving this summer.

Please tell me about food, where do you shop for food? Do they have health food stores in this area, might be a dumb question, but I'm just thinking about buying detergent and toothpaste and stuff...

I know this is way late, but I've had really good luck with drugstore.com for natural household products. There's not the variety you would get if you were in the U.S., but you can usually find Seventh Generation and stuff. They ship APO at reasonable rates, too!

Where are you moving from? I've not made it to Aviano but the px/bx is supposedly a lot better than ours in Vicenza.

We are moving from Texas. How far is Vicenza, dumb question, is there a air force base there also?
