So, I'm pregnant and in shock. DH and I were trying for a year, then gave up about 6 months ago. And well, here I am. From what I can tell, I am 5 weeks pregnant, and I'm due around September 7th. I had my last monthly period on December 1st. I was late on the 30th of December, but that's nothing unusual for me. :) But today I was officially a week late, so I tested with a cheapy dollar store test I had laying around. Here it is!

DH didn't belive me that it was positive, and I really didn't either, so we went to CVS and got a digital one. I drank like half a gallon of water and got this after 20 seconds.

So I'm pretty much in shock. I am happy, but shaking. I'm madly researching everything online. :shy :shy

We tried for DD for 17 months before we had a viable pregnancy. This time I expected it to take a very long time. So, we were pretty shocked too. Congratulations!!

Thanks Everybody. I'm getting really excited now, but I'm paranoid at the same time. I had some pinkish spotting yesterday, but it was only the one time and really light, so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Everything I read says it's pretty common.
