I can't believe I'm doing this, especially after 7 babies! I still have baby weight hanging on from my last few babies, lol. Here's mine! :) I apologize for the unmade bed and mess. I just kind of.. got myself and ds dressed, kicked dp out of the bed and into the bathroom, and took the pic lol. I can tell you the difference I can see... my boobs are so much bigger already! :lol I'm not complaining! After nursing ds for over 3 years they were actually a cup size smaller than they were prepregnancy. I am going to ENJOY the more ample size this time around since I know what will happen later...

Personally I think you still look great - definitely still fit and you don't look pg! I just know it's also exciting to see a little bit of change. If anything, at this stage it's just bloating and fat redistributing. I think you're going to be pretty flat throughout the 1st trimester, if only b/c you're in such good shape already. Don't worry!!!

It's tough for me to see changes going on so early, too. I still haven't given up on the idea that I'm going to stay skinny everywhere and just have a basketball belly stick out! I'm determined! Haha, maybe we're both insane!

Haha! I hope I can stay small everywhere except my belly. But, I'm pretty sure it won't happen. :lol I carry all my weight below my waist. I've always had a bubble butt and thick, gymnast legs. I'm totally ok with that because I know how to keep them looking strong instead of just big but that's going to be hard as I gain weight with the pregnancy. We'll see. I have high hopes. And, yes, I'm pretty sure we're both insane. :wink

You are too sweet. I know I'm not in bad shape or anything but I'm very anal and critical about my body. I always strive for just a little bit better because I know what I'm capable of, physically. While I understand that being pregnant really changes your body, I truly believe it doesn't have to ruin it or make you feel badly about the way you look. My goal is to retain the postive way I see the majority of my body and hopefully not dislike my rough spots anymore than I already do when it's all said and done. :)

LOL, thanks! The room was a horrible dark, dingy red when we moved in and we *just* finished re-painting it last month. Its got beautiful, big crown molding, too.

I think my posture is changing a little, but I tried to stand as straight as I could and I was actually trying to hold my tummy tight, and not stick it out. It is kinda strange watching it grow, to tell you the truth! I don't know why it's growing this early, and I'm barely able to eat so it could just be water/not going to the bathroom too. Dunno!

Bloating is very normal in early pregnancy. Also, when I had my U/S the radiologist said I was pooling fluid in my abdomen and that it was normal-ish and no big deal. Either way, enjoy it. :)

Ahhh, you did O about 10 days before me then! I O'd on Jan 25 and I'm going from that date, not LMP so that makes sense you'd be almost 2 weeks ahead of me. :) My weekly changes are easy to remember since it's on Fridays. :D


I'll take it though, I was definitely a member of the IBTC, it's nice to see something there for a change. :wink

Amen! I've always been an advocate for the "Very Sexy" collection at Victoria's Secret. They're so good that even DH knows the name and can tell when I'm wearing one! :lol He says, "You're wearing the good Very Sexy bra, aren't you?" HAHA!!!!

Well, my boobs grew a lot in my first pregnancy, but I think dd must have nursed them away. They're smaller now than before. I suspect her nursing is also why they're not growing now. :)

I'm feeling better this morning. Last night I didn't feel good at all. I think baby must be awake and working on growing in the evening and then asleep in the morning. :lol I didn't have any classes on Thurs or Fri so that gave me time to just relax and sleep and such. Mon should be a pretty relaxed day too since I only have 1 class at 7pm. I'll be back in full force on Tues. Wed are rediculously busy so I hope I am able to keep up. I'll have 4 classes that day.

I was researching it online and it seems a lot of it might be bloat. I have been having stomach pains off and on. It is frustrating because I feel funny looking so preggy so early! I am already wearing really loose shirts. Who knows! My first midwife apt. is March 17th I guess she might be able to tell how big the uterus is.

not "usual", but it definitely happens. :) i remember taking a prenatal water class with DS, and a girl there was only 8 weeks and she was just enormous. (first kid) we could not believe it, we kept teasing her that the MW meant to say 8 "months". :p

everyone looks so great. i am a little shy about my belly and the chub there, so i will probably not post til i look more prego. :innocent i didn't even start taking pics with DS until 18 weeks - and you couldn't tell until 22 weeks that i was really prego, when it got nice and rounded. i wonder if i'll show earlier this time, i have a tad bit less fluff than i had with DS, thanks to jazzercise. :wink

At the beginning of the week is when the ticker changes to that week. If you are 8 weeks today, you would change your ticker to 8 weeks. Thats how it works with the pg ticker on my other forum anyway... And I don't think your belly looks bigger at all lol! Still teeny!

Just like Triple said, I don't think you look any different from wk 6 to 7. If anything, you look more toned in your abdomen!

As for your ticker, if you're 7w+d then you're ticker should be moved to 7. As soon as you hit 8w0d, you move to 8. :) HTH!

I felt the EXACT same way!!! I looked at my 7 & 8 weeks pics and then the one from today looked so much smaller lol! Ahhh, gotta love that bloat! You look fabulous BTW :)

I'd hardly call you chunky. :) Your pics look a lot like mine though so I totally understand what you mean. You're so used to being so small and thin that any weight you gain, everyone notices! Yay for a little bump though! :D
