View Full Version : Any NEW pregnancy symptoms today?

Each day I feel just a little pregnant, with this symptom or that popping up. I thought it might be fun to blab about it (man, I love this DDC! All the yap I want to do would bore my dh to no end, this is such a great outlet!).

Anyway, today I felt dizzy when I stood up. I didn't even stand up fast. Last night I felt the very first twinge of nausea, but thankfully have felt fine on that score today. We'll see what tomorrow brings..haha. 4 weeks 3 days and counting.

The neurosis has set in! This morning I ate some soy yogurt and then realized that - I WASN'T QUEASY! What the heck? Am I okay? Is the baby okay? Then I calmed down a bit and ten minutes later - BAM - queasiness! :lol I'm a little paranoid because of my previous losses I guess. :o

I know how you feel. I've only had one loss, but I'm SO glad I'm sick this time. When I had my miscarriage, I do not remember EVER being sick, so this nausea is more than welcome! :wink

I'm been feeling tinges of nausea and lots of dizziness. A few days before I tested, I had a little leakage from BBs (strange because DD weaned herself at 12 months), strange dreams, a little nausea, EWM, etc.

Has anyone had any cramping? Last time I wiped after using the bathroom about an hour ago, I had some pink tinged discharge that has me a little worried. :( That combined with the cramping does not seem like a good sign to me, but I guess only time will tell. Any prayers my way would be more than welcome.

Today I got really shaky and super hot feeling. Then I realized I was soooo thirsty and chugged two glasses of water.

I'm more tired than usual and slightly queasy. If it didn't get worse than this, then I'd be SO happy. Smells are really sending me over the edge right now, even smells that I typically like I can't stand.

Oh, and I have an aversion to sweets. I'm sure that'll disappear soon enough, lol.

Just reading that made me realize I'm sitting here thirsty. Off to grab a tall glass of water.:D

I would be more comforted if I was constipated, but unfortunately I've had just the opposite. :(

still having constant cramping (meaning, several times a day..not scientifically constant! lol!).

smells are crazy!

one thing im loving is not changing hte litter box anymore.

one thing im upset about is that i didnt get my hair done a few weeks ago....now i have to go all the way natural for the next 9 months..oh well...

i am a bit paranoid about the cramping but hoping all is well.

nothing else is happening other than being a bit (warning...TMI is to come....)...

gassy! lol!

im feeling very energetic and alert. is that weird or what? i ahve 3 sons and had always gotten morning sickness, etc. etc. Could this mean im having a girl? oh that would be awesome!

Gassy? I don't even know a word to describe the "gassiness" I had a few days ago. I looked ready to pop because I was sooooo bloated and uncomfortable. It's disgusting no?

Welcome and congratulations, Parker!

I have no advice for the skin thing - my skin is actually going the opposite now. I'm clear and glowy for the first time since getting pregnant with DS - not sure if it's because of the hormones, or because I finally tried the oil cleansing method, or a combination.

For me: Ravenous today. I just ate TWO yogurt smoothies (in 16 oz glasses!), four pieces of toast, a peach, and the half of the banana that DS didn't eat. And I still feel like I could eat a block or two of cheese. I'm a little surprised at the lack of nausea after feeling so awful for the past few days, but I figure it's not worth complaining - that's energy I could be spending cooking and eating instead. :D

Congratulations, Parker!! :)

Funny thing about breaking out, before I had kids I had horrid acne, and nothing helped it. But, after I got pregnant and had my baby, I have nice clear skin. Go figure. I've had 3 kids now and no recurrance. So maybe you just have to get it out of your system and you too can be can acne free! I have no idea, but good luck anyway.

i'm drinking more water than usual

Nothing too major!

I'm breaking out a little, too. It just started yesterday. It's not bad though. Unfortunately, I don't know anything to help it.

Yay for the + blood test!

As for breaking out, I have been - which seems to have been the trend with my skin since going off the pill, actually. I've been using Peter Thomas Roth's acne stuff - the wash, the sulfur spot treatment stuff (which is AWESOME) and the AHA/BHA gel stuff that helps bring all the junk to the surface. I've been using it only for a little more than a week but everything has been clearing up and healing (I've had trouble finding stuff that works, and I'm in the skincare industry!)

Clearing Gel (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P3550&categoryId=3728)

Spot Treatment (the BEST) (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P151909&categoryId=3728#moreInfo)

Face Wash (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P3553&categoryId=3728)

There's also a trial kit with these products in it that's only $35. That's what I got. It is the best evar.

Here's a new one: While rolling over in bed I felt my pubic bone shift. Oh dear goddess please tell me I am not going to get SPD during this pregnancy. I am so not ready to deal with that pain again. Ugh.

I'm down like a pound or so and I can't button my pants. :( I think I already mentioned this... it's really disturbing. I went ahead and had my blood test today. I should know my levels tomorrow.

I'm so sorry. I'm glad you feel pregnant today though! I spotted pink with my first pregnancy on and off for two days with very light cramping. I got on the couch and kept my feet up and tried to relax. It all turned out okay.

No news today - no new signs. I would welcome nausea, etc. so that I felt more pregnant and more secure in it all.

Crap - I forgot that I'm using that in my face wash (Salicylic Acid 2%). Does anyone recommend one without it? I always get blackheads when I go without it. I'll quit right away though. Thanks for the reminder.

Good thing I haven't been using my Proactiv much lately!

And as far as new pregnancy symptoms go, my boobs are killing me today! :D Another good sign, I think. And they are so full and heavy. I can barely carry them around anymore...boy, am I in trouble. :wink

I totally need this outlet because I'd drive my dh crazy and i'm not telling everyone yet so I'm needing to just talk. I had cramping that also had me worried although I had some with my 1st pregnancy. I think that I'm just more aware of miscarriages now. Anyways, the cramping is gone and I hear that sometimes it just lasts longer and you don't need to worry. I think I was maybe doing too much? I hope not to get the itchiness on my palms and soles of my feet again. That was weird! Having some minor nausea but it helps me realize yeah this is real. I guess I need that ....for some odd reason I did three pregnancy tests (one neg and two later were postitive). Also my booms are feeling heavier and it's really hurting to nurse by 3 yo. I hope its not like that for long but maybe I'll help him wean...we'll see.

I switched back to my Alba Pineapple Enzyme cleanser. It helps with blackheads (that's my problem too) and smells delicious.

AAM: My only symptom is this awful congestion. What a royal pain! I can't stop sneezing or blowing my nose. Stinks! Also, I'm *this close* to actually getting a belly band so I can wear my jeans. They are too tight but I feel like a fool wearing my baggy next-size-ups.
