I am 38 weeks pg. Last week I stumbled over a crack in the sidewalk and while I didn't actually fall, I ran forward about 10 steps trying to regain my balance. I landed in a squat. Immediately the back right-side of my pelvis was sore. Since then I have had pain in the back right-side of my pelvis, especially when walking. When I try to turn over in bed or get off the couch, the pain is excruciating. When I walk the pain radiates down my right leg.

I have seen a chiropractor twice in the last week, and was told that my right "sit bone" was protruding. I have gotten adjusted, but honestly just feel worse than I did last week. The furthest I can walk is about a block without turning around and giving up.

Anyone else have this kind of problem? What did you do to resolve it? Did it resolve, or was it a permanent thing? Did a chiropractor help, or should I see a massage therapist or something? Or just give it time? Should I try to push myself to get a little exercise, or just lie on the couch as much as possible?

Thank you for any advice of what I can do to make myself feel better. I really can't go on like this--I can't function at all.

I am experiencing the exact same thing on my left side. All of the symptoms, the same. Excruciating. I am only 18 weeks, I can't imagine how much worse it must be with the extra weight of 20 additional weeks! I had been regularly seeing a chiropractor when this developed. I don't know what caused my misalignment. For me, this began about 1.5 weeks ago. I have been to the chiro. twice since then, and one of the times I could barely walk out of the office I was in so much pain after the adjustment. By the end of the day I noticed a big improvement, only for the pain to return the next morning. I am going again this afternoon and I am going have a more serious discussion about treatment.
Sorry, no suggestions, just wanted to let you know that I sympathize and you're not alone in this. Let me know if find anything helpful!
