I got mine too!!! I think everything is aligning for me to give birth very soon! I am wearing them, I love them so much and hopefully all the energy is going to help get me in to labor very soon, tomorrow I am 41 weeks.

I contributed the oval ones with the yellow and white daisies. I love that there were some other similar ones to that on there too. I also love the little owl bead! Well I love them all, they're so pretty!

The ones I sent were small, round polished amethyst stones. :thumb

My bead is the turquiose (sorry for the spelling) round small beads. I have always had a strong connection to 'em.

I sent the round wooden red and tanish/orangish beads! Yay, so glad they are arriving just in time. Would love to hear from miss SB and know things are O.K. with her though!!!! Where are you lady???/

I sent the chocolate brown clay tear-drops. I can't wait to get mine in the mail - it's going to be so nice having that connection with all of you :D.

Please do pop in SB - I know how hard it's been for me to get anything done while pregnant, doing all of those necklaces must have been beyond daunting.

Mine are round and greenish with a flower on them. I'm having a hard time spotting them in the pic (I need new glasses badly!!). Anyway, I hope I get my beads soon, too! That would REALLY make me feel like the baby can show up any time!

I don't get it... do you wear this while you give birth? Or are they just called "birth beads" because it's a gift for the occasion?

i sent the owl beads! i actually bought one while i was in austin and made a necklace out of it. i figured out that i put it on ON the conception date, and i haven't taken it off since. it only made sense to get the owl beads to share with everyone. :D i'm obsessed with owls during this pregnancy!

My DD and I went shopping for the beads together...we could not decide! So, she picked the glass cubes, they are all a little different, but colorful and I picked the little hearts, they are a navy bluish color but change in the light. This is such an awesome special thing. My DD loves it, as do I, and I told her she will get to wear it one day when she has a baby (hopefully quite a while from now!!) So, thank you so much to everyone who participated, and thank you so much to ScarletBegonias for orgainizing and creating all of these meaningful pieces of art!

Mine are the glass blue beads with the silver faceted parts. In the pic, they are the second beads from the center clay drop.

I got mine today!! I can't believe how beautiful it is!!!

My beads are actually square with painted flowers on them, it had been so long I'd forgotten what they look like. Anyway, I ADORE my necklace and will be wearing it for all the wonderful blessings. I plan to PM SB to thank her, I think she really went above and beyond taking on this project for us.

mine got here today too! (jezzy, just forget capitalization; that helps, anyway) they are GORGEOUS and Terran's little hands are starting to notice things, so the timing is perfect. i'm one of those people who couldn't stand nipple twiddling so i really needed a nursing necklace and early, too. i hope he likes it as much as i do. i haven't commited one way or the other about lending it to dd when she births her first child.

Got mine today too! And also had my first experience with prodromal labor, and so I put the beads on when the ctx were really rough, and they totally helped!!! Just thinking of all the other mamas who have given birth or will be giving birth with me these days really gave me strength! I can't wait to wear them in labor!

Mine were the small, circular, greenish/grayish earthy-looing beads!

I got mine yesterday and it is beautiful!!!
