Just found out a little over an hour ago. We were not TTC, but not TTA either.

I had a feeling this would be the month, especially since after 5 years I actually had my libido come back, and of course just 2 days ago dd2 weaned. So it's been officially over 5 years STRAIGHT of being pregnant and/or nursing :)

I'm super excited, dh not-so-much. I could hardly contain myself and said "i have to tell you something!" and he goes "oh man, don't tell me that thing said positive." I said yes it did and he goes "oh great, this is just going to complicate things." :foot


Anyway excited to be here, EDD is Oct. 21, 2008. :love:love:love
My dds will be 5.5 and 3 by then.

Oh and of course I woke up with a sinus infection yesterday.

Congrats! My dh reacted fairly similar to yours. They'll come around eventually.. they won't have much choice!

That's what I told him. He's totally into having more kids, he jsut wasn't thrilled with the timing since we are applying to jobs in another *country* so while i "get" it may complicate things literally, dang it just lie for a minute! LoL

anyway I'm going to totally tell my closest friends and I'll wait till next month to tell the family (they won't be thrilled )

My dh reacted about the same way, too. He's still kind of stunned and shocked b/c we thought we'd be done w/ our 4. I know he'll come around eventually but its just hard when you want to share your joy w/ them, yk?

LOL we (dh and I) have been emailing each other back and forth all day and he *still* thinks the pg tests (i've taken THREE) could be wrong. I wrote him back and said "I took 3 tests and they were all positive. You may step back into reality now" lol it was all in fun but he seriously wants me to take another test

Congrats! So, you are telling your friends soon? I want to tell my parents tomorrow but DH thinks it's too soon. What helped you make your decision (to tell your friends early)?

I told my friends the same day as my first test (Saturday), I told 3 of my closest and seriously I'm soooo glad I did. They got me SUPER excited even more than I already was. As for how I decided to tell them: my friends are my family seriously. I'm waaaay closer to them than I am to my own parents/siblings so for me telling them is probably the same as others would feel about telling their own family. Wow run-on sentence.LOL

We have not told either set of parents yet. I'm waiting to tell mine since they won't be thrilled and will likely burst my bubble. My inlaws I'll tell soon.

edited to add: I'm not telling my kids yet either. 9 months is a loooong time to wait and a long time to hear "when is the baby coming?" lol
