What would you prefer? Boy or girl?
Boy
Will you be asking your babies sex if you are having scans?
I really don't know, I have never asked before but am tempted this time.
Do you have any 'feelings' about what sex the baby is?
Totallyy different symptoms compared to usual so maybe a boy.
Have you checked out gender guessers and what have you come up with so far?
Yes, 50% say girl, 50% say boy lol (ok, so I have only tried 2 lol).

I am hoping for another boy. My symptoms are completely different than last time, though (although I'm not putting much stock in the "different symptoms for different sexes" theory). I'm not sure if I'm having an ultrasound or not, but they won't tell you in my province unless you go for a specialty 3D scan, which I won't be doing. So either way I will be waiting until the birth!

I sort of secretly want another girl. But really I don't care at all. I don't think I'll find out the sex this time, but I did with my other two. Dh wants another boy.

I would be happy with another girl, but one of each would be fine to, but then i have to worry about someone moving downstairs eventually.
we haven't decide if we will get a u/s or if we do if we will find out gender, we didn't for our daughter. i am torn
I think it is a girl despite the last of severe ms i had from 7dpo with DD.
gender prediction- chinese says boy, but i think it said boy for DD as well. only one i have done so far.

I would love a girl this time but I will be just as happy with another boy. We don't plan to find out this time unless we're expecting twins, and then we only want to know--if they happen to be fraternal--if they are the same gender or not. Obviously if they are not the same gender we will know what we have, but otherwise we will wait until birth.

I really, truly do not have a preference. I *feel* like it's a boy, though. We will not be finding out the sex before the birth.

Either one would be fine. I have pros and cons for both so it really doesn't matter.
The old ring-over-wrist test said I would have a G-B-B and it's been right for the first two...
My girl v. boy pregnancies so far were really, really different so it will be interesting to see how this one goes. No real symptoms yet, so we'll see!

It's not so much that I would prefer a girl, but that I would just be completely shocked if it's not a girl. I have known for years I would have a minimum of three kids, girl-boy-girl.
And so far, this does seem more similar to my pregnancy with my daughter than my son, but I don't know how much that can really predict. We won't be having any ultrasounds, so no opportunity to check... even if we did, we likely would not check.
The only 'gender guesser' thing I have looked at it is one of those Chinese conception calendars, and it said boy... but I am pretty sure it said ds should have been a girl.

I already have 2 girls. I'd have no idea what to do with a boy! But my first nephew is due any day now, so a boy cousin for him this close in age would be nice. So I'm leaning toward girl, but I just want a healthy one!
We will totally ask what the baby is at the ultrasound. I knew with both of my girls and I'd never do it differently. I am a planner and I like to plan things like clothing and such.
I don't have any "feelings" about the gender, but when hubby and I were talking about names for DD#2, we got fixed on girl names and had lousy boy names. Last night we were talking names and could only think of boy names.
I haven't looked at any gender guessers. They all said boy for both of my kids and both kids were girls, lol

What's gender guesser?
I did the Chines Gender Prediction thingy, and it said BOY!
DH and I really want a boy, but obviously a HH baby is all we need:love
Everytime I ask Bella, she says its a "sissssssssstah"....maybe because she can't say brother yet:p

I know how weird and negative this sounds, but I think I'll be a little disappointed either way. (That's why we're going to find out the sex ahead of time, unlike last time; so I can adjust to whatever it is!)
If it's a girl, I'll be disappointed that I'll never know what it's like to have a boy. (This is our second and last baby.)
If it's a boy, I will be not so much disappointed as FREAKED OUT! What the heck do you do with a boy! Penises are weird! etc. etc.

Ha ha ha ha ha! I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's not weird at all. I have two girls and don't know if DH will be up for more babies after this one. But yeah. Boys are like aliens to me.

The Chinese Gender Predictor was correct for both of my kidos so for this one it's saying Girl. So I'm going with Girl for now. We didn't find out with the other two and dh doesn't want to find out with this one either. I kind of do:innocent but we probably won't. It really doesn't matter to me. Another boy close in age to ds would be awesome but for now, girl it is:love

There are 9 kids here on the farm - 7 boys and 2 girls. The girls are 14 and 5. I really want a girl to even out the kid gender balance a little bit.

I have two boys and I'm hoping this one is a boy as well. I can't imagine having a girl in the house besides me of course. Even our dogs are boys. :lol
I'm not looking forward to the comments from people..."So you're trying for that girl, huh?" No, we were trying for a baby and actually I'd like it to be another boy.
My feeling is that it is a boy.
Don't know if we'll find out yet or if we'll have a scan.

I really don't care. I was 100% convinced that my son was a girl throughout my whole pregnancy so I don't think that my intuition is spot on either. I won't be finding out.

either gender is fine, I don't really have an opinion although after 3 girls I automatically think girl. Daddy & the 3 older kiddos all want boy and the little one wants a girl. We have our talks about how it's not up to us and we will love whatever it is....it will be so interesting to see the reactions at birth. We will not be finding out before opening day!

btw, chinese predictors say boy and it has been correct 2 out of 3 times for us! Last time a friendly postman said it was a girl and he was right, he had 5 children of his own and said he was right with everyone of them and just has a gift of knowing what babies are. He has since retired darnit!

I'm inclined to not find out in advance. My husband likened that to months on end of being a kid on Xmas eve, squirming in bed with the anticipation of opening all of the presents under the tree, yearning to just take a leeeeeetle peek.
All my life, my visions of myself as a mother focused on me having a daughter. Somehow, though, I feel like this is a boy. I'm not sure where that's coming from--I don't have any clear rationale--I just feel like it's a boy.

If I am honest and give in to my selfish nature...I want it to be another boy. REALLY want it to be a boy. But, poor DD just wants a sister. And i really can't imagine her going her entire life not having a sister, ya know? So, for her sake, I hope its a girl. We will most assuredly be finding out. I cannot imagine not knowing. It would kill me!:wink

I knew my dc was a boy, but wanted a girl sooo bad. I will be ecstatic either way. Another boy would be really nice, though

I think either would be wonderful! That said, I would love a little boy! I want a little copy of my sweet husband - he was and adorable baby and is a wonderful man. Little boys just fascinate me.
But I am happy either way. I always thought I would wait until the birth to find out, but I already want to know! But the only way to tell for sure is to get an ultrasound, right? And I don't plan to have any, so unless I get strong vibes on the sex, I won't know for sure until birth.:)

I really want another girl. I would be happy with a second boy and in some ways it will be easier for us with bedrooms, etc...
In the end I will be happy with either. I keep thinking it is a girl though. I was right with my other two, so time will tell.
We will be finding out the sex beforehand. We did with our first, did not with our second and we just prefer knowing.

I used the Chinese gender predictor and it said girl...I think. The thing is, my lmp was on 2/5, I O'd on 2/23, but I believe implantation happened on 3/2. So what month do I use? If it's February, I've supposedly got a boy. If it's March, it's a girl.
At the beginning of ttc I thought I really wanted a girl, a spring baby...but as the months and months of trying went by, I realized I just wanted a healthy child! My preference is still for a girl, but really, I'll be thrilled if it's a boy.

I really don't care, but I think DP would like a boy. We had some issues last time, which would tempt me to find out this time, but he says (and I believe him) that he is over them. Last time EVERYONE was sure we were having a boy , even I thought so BUT, I had had a dream that I was changing our 5 month old baby's diaper and was freaked out. "I think we made a terrible mistake. I can't find the penis!" Anyway, my dreams have been pretty accurate, although I haven't had one for this one yet.

I want another boy.
Partially cause we have tons of boy clothes, and they'll be about two years apart.
Partially cause if we have another boy, then I will definitely be having a third, cause I want a girl! :)

Ever since starting TTC I've felt like #1 would probably be a boy. No feelings about what this one might be, or even if it's one or two. Perhaps that will develop later.
I don't have a strong preference either way, although I'd like to parent a boy and a girl at some point.

I guess I'm kind of hoping for a boy, since I have two girls and a boy, it would be nice for DS to have a brother. But if not this time, next time! :wink We want a big family....so I'm happy either way!

Uh oh. Update time. I was in the car and it hit me. I want a boy, and I never thought I'd say that. It was just a sudden longing, perhaps brought on by watching too much Michael Cera in Arrested Development. I want to be that boy's mama. :)

I really think I'm having a girl. But cliche as it sounds, I'm only hoping for a healthy baby! I love my boy and my girl, and I would never say I preferred one gender over another!

Today I'm sure I'm going to have a boy. My biggest problem with this is I have a ton of girl names I love but no boy names that truly resonate.

If I am being totally honest...I would love to have another girl. Right now I don't have a feeling either way though.
I don't know if I will have a sonogram, but if I do, I will try to hold out and be surprised again like last time!
I looked at the Chinese chart and it says *boy*, Madame Zariska says *boy* (lol), but I go by when we had "relations" and when I most likely ovulated I think we would be more likely to get another little girly! :love

I have a friend who made me anal about this... it's not gender we're talking about, it's sex :wink Sex is biologically determined (Female vs male), gender is a socially-constructed notion (feminine vs masculine) :) I know you all know that... but every time I see the word gender applied incorrectly... haha

ITA! I'm always so sure to specifiy "sex" now instead of "gender" ;)

We have 4 dd's altogether so we are hoping for a boy, I will be happy so long as it's healthy, I have no feelings either way everytime I was pg I thought it was a boy and everytime I was wrong. I did lose a son at 21 weeks so it would be very special to have a living healthy baby boy
