I'm a bit of a lurker, but I have a question. I went to the doctor today and she told me I am 2cm and 50% effaced. :D Then she told me that the baby has hair, because she can feel it through the membrane. Has anyone else ever heard of this or been told this? Does that mean the baby is really low? TIA for any responses!

It seems really bizarre to be able to feel the baby's hair.. 2cm isn't much wiggle room and it seems things would be slippery! Maybe though... weird!

Yeah, they said that to my aunt, and sure enough my cousin was born with a TON of hair!
