Just found out, haven't told anyone yet- except you guys!!!
I wondered if any of you have an idea about what could be a fun way for me to tell my husband? I've also got 2 kids (7 and 3) who don't know yet. Be fun to spring it on all of them at the same time. Or maybe not. The kids will be really really surprised, whereas dh has some idea since my period was 4 days late already.
Bring it on! and Thanks!

Somebody a few months ago on the ttc threads, wrote something on her stomach (can't remember what it was, anybody?) and then asked her dh to check out a mole or something like that.
Somebody else put a hot dog bun in the oven and somehow got dh to look in there.
These are just vague recollections, but might spur you on.
I just tested yesterday and dh was in the other room, but I didn't tell him I was taking it. After it showed +, I went over and asked him "Do you think that's a plus?" He freaked. But that idea might be too late for you.
Have fun with it!

She wrote "No vacancy" :lol

:lol Surprises are probably easier when you didn't make your dh buy an HPT on the way home from work the night before.

:rotflmao:laugh:laughup:lol That is hysterical.
Thanks for the reminder, Erlaine...it was "no vacancy" That's pretty clever.

Here's how I told him (not very imaginative, but it was fun to see his eyes bug out!)
I sat on his lap after he came home from work (waited until the kids were in the other room), kissed him real good, and said "we made a baby." He was surprised, so I added "not right now, but before" :heartbeat
We haven't the kids yet- probably soon, though. We've had 2 miscarriages and lost a dd at 7 months, so hesitant about when to tell everyone.
I love the "no vacancy."
