I made a new diaper bag!

Check out the diaper bag I just made to replace the one I've been using since my lil man was born.

I altered a tote bag pattern that I already had to be a backpack with a flap instead. Iused some gorgeous fabric that I had found at the local fabric store. The whole thing only cost about $20 and took me 2 hrs. (woulda been faster if I hadn't had to "wing it" on such things as the strap placement).

It's big enough to hold all my baby stuff plus a ditty bag for me and my wallet. Now I don't have to carry around both a purse and a diaper bag!

I am so impressed! That is every bit as lovely as the Sally Spicer bags - plus no one else has one LOL.

You should sell them if you can make them that inexpensively and quickly.:D

Wow, that is very cool. I keep thinking about making bags but I'm intimidated for some reason.

You could definitely sell those for big $$, I think!

Thanks for the comlements. I liked making the bag, but I'm way too anal about my sewing to actually make stuff to sell. Everytime I make something to give away as a gift, I am always stressed about how it looks-- even tho the people who get the gifts never see the "problems" I do (like a crooked stitch, etc.).

If someone had to pay for my stuff, I'd be even more stressed out! LOL
