that has been a side effect for me too.
mostly just wanting to eat and not feeling satisfied/full.
that said~ zoloft is my 'match' and it certainly helps my pp/anxiety. but I can easily gain in a matter of days if I just let myself go.:(

Pretty common. I had this, too.

i have the hugest sweet tooth since starting zoloft. i don't know for certain that it doesn't also have to do with nursing though, and my body trying to stockpile some fat. regardless, its been a struggle not to eat nothing but sweets.

Yikes!!! I just thought it was the recent seperation of me and my hubby. Now I think it might be the Zoloft! I will start watching what I eat better.

OooHHH.. not good. I was talking to my ob/gyn about taking something after I deliver and she suggested Zoloft. I have never taken antidepressants before but I know that I should have after each birth. This time around I was hoping to start Zoloft right away but I don't like the thought of gaining weight. I need to lose the pregnancy weight not struggle with my appetite. Is there something else that I can take?

Zoloft is great for PPD, but I switched from Zoloft to Wellbutrin when my LO was three months old. I have other issues--I take Wellbutrin for executive dysfunction stemming from an autism spectrum condition, not depression--but my doctor suggested that it's a switch that might work for a lot of women. The Zoloft gets you through the really rough early part, and then the Wellbutrin helps you feel capable and keep things together.

thankfully the cravings are becoming less. i go to my doc tomorrow and i am thinking he's going to up my dose as planned so i'm guessing they may come back. when i was younger and on zoloft i used to lose weight!

Interesting. My pdoc is thinking about stacking/switching me to Wellbutrin and I'm 3 mos. PP. I wonder what it is about 3 mos. Does anybody know?
