Urgh, Ladies, I'm having a tough time here! With Dakota, I had the best pregnancy ever! Now I feel a million times worse!!! What gives? Does each pregnancy get worse for you all??? Do they all feel the same! I wanted to have like 10 kids, now I am majorly re-thinking this!
Pg #1: slightly tired, happy, healthy, only occassionlly quesy, gained like 22pounds, felt amazing
Pg #2: crap! Exhasuted, tired, run-down, crabby, hungry, quesy all day, already gained lik 8 pounds! (though not actaully that bad) and just generally crappy feeling
What gives? Is this noramL?

I was sicker during my 2nd than in my first - but I attributed it to the fact that my 2nd was a girl (more hormones! LOL). We'll see how the third goes...

I think it just depends on the person, but all of mine have been very similar.
Crampy for the first week that AF would've been due, queasy all day/night till about 8 weeks, then starts up again around 9 weeks and lasts till 12-14 wks.
I just try to make sure I'm getting some sort of protein every few hours and that seems to help a bit.

#1- Tired, some morning sickness, started showing around 14 weeks, preterm labor throughout 3rd tri, the worst part was the ITCHING, I scratched the tops of my legs and my belly all day until I bled, lots of sciatic nerve pain (couldn't walk some days) gained 50 pounds, no after pains at all (this one was a girl)
#2- sooo tired, wretched morning sickness, had to wear maternity clothes at 7 WEEKS, couldn't even walk around the house the entire 1st tri, perterm labor started at 14 weeks, ligament pain, back pain, VERY active baby, gained 30 pounds, killer after pains (this was a boy)
#3- So far (6 weeks), a little tired, morning sickness (getting better with remedies I've been trying), not showing yet, weak (having trouble standing and walking, lots of cramping... and sore boobs with all of them

oh, i hope they don't get worse with everyone! so far this one is not as bad as my first. but i think alot of that has to do with frame of mind, etc. i am way busier and less stressed this time around, we are in a secure place, have a wonderful relationship, etc. though i didn't really get sick til 8weeks last time and i'm not even 6 weeks yet, so maybe i am speaking way too soon!
i do wonder about the sickness/hormones with girls vs. boys. last one was a girl and i really, really think this one is a boy (timing wise it would make sense, plus i just have that feeling).... hmmm....

Morning sickness was by far the worst with my first.
Second pregnancy a little less queasy.
This pregnancy pretty green but not quite as bad as my first.
If I can avoid the heartburn later on it will make up for everything!

This is my second and its definitely worse. I'm having such a hard time with food, feel like my belly is popping out already, and am sleeping a ton. Last time around, I had a little nausea, but mostly felt great. Then again, I wasn't chasing a toddler all day and could nap when the mood struck or avoid cooking when I didn't feel like it. I wonder how much these things have to do with it.
Is your life different now than it was the first time around?

My first, DD now 6, I was horribly sick. It sucked. I gained 50 lbs ( thats a lot considering I was 115 lbs @ 5'8"when I started.) I couldn't see my ankles after awhile. Went early 3 weeks bc my blood pressure was so high. This time around, haven't gotten sick yet...not even nauseous(cross my fingers). My DH says its bc he has better genes than my ex...lol! The only thing bothering me is cramps, feels like AF cramps but a little worse, and insomnia....go figure.

I was just wondering the same thing.
My first pregnancy with my son was amazing. I had cramping for several weeks at first and mild nausea for about a week. I gained about 40 pounds at the end but felt really good with only some lower back pain the last month or so.
This time it's been completely different. I've felt sick pretty much from the start. I'm still having some cramping which I guess is just normal for me. The nausea is so awful, which has been a bit of a shock to me. :innocent My husband called my birthday on the 9th my barfday. :eyesroll
Also, having a 7 month old crawling circles around me or kicking me in the stomach while i'm queasy isn't terribly helpful. I feel bad for him, with me so ill. I keep telling myself it will get better. I just hope thats actually true.

I don't think so, I think my third was the best. At this point, it's too early to say what this one is like. Definitely some nausea, etc.
Emotionally somehow I always just feel WONDERFUL pregnant. Which is why I think my DH jokingly calls it my "natural state"
