Serves me right to research any pain I'm having, but...
I was just reading on babycenter.com. I've had this pain, kinda I guess about where my left ovary would be. There's a hard lump there and not one on the right side. When I cough or sneeze, or sometimes just move, it cramps up like a pulled muscle feeling. Now, I DO have a fibroid, I belive on that side, on my ovary. But could that cause a hard lump and pain? I don't have any medical at the moment so I'm not really sure what to do.

an ectopic is life threatening. If you think it may be that you need an ultrasound to rule it out. Go to the emergency room if you have to and tell them whats going on.
Good luck!

Yes, nothing to be trifled with! Call your doctor first thing tomorrow. They can order a stat ultrasond to see if the baby is in the right spot.

Odd thing... it hasn't bothered me since I posted. :eyesroll
Maybe constipation? Dehydration? Gas? I dunno.
I don't have a doc and midwives here aren't so legal so they can't do a whole lot, medically speaking. I haven't found one yet, I hear there are only 3 in the entire area. :irked:
Hopefully the pain just stays gone.

I've had...ahem...a lot of gas with this pregnancy. Some of it can be quite painful. Hopefully that is all it was! If you get any spotting with the pain you should go to the local ER.

Your ovaries could be enlarged, or it could be the corpeus luteum leftover from the ovary that ovulated. A beta HCG test and an ultrasound would rule out an ectopic.

Sounds like Round Ligament pain to me. And yes, you can have it this early. Some resources say you won't get it until your second trimester, but I had it early! It's a sharp stabbing pain that lasts a few seconds when you get up or move fast or bend a certain way. Sometimes you'll even feel it if you cough or sneeze. Round Ligament pain isn't anything to worry about... it's not something harmful. You aren't hurting the baby. I get it all the time... especially since i'm bigger now! The lump sounds like it might be your fibroid like you said.

Hope you are still feeling ok. I've had the exact same thing. Its been mostly on my left side too. I think mine is constipation unfortunately. :innocent I don't get an u/s till 20 weeks. My MW said if anything wrong was going to happen you'd definately know something wasn't right and be in lots of pain. GL to ya!
