Childcare in Amsterdam?

My partner and I did not sign up for creche as we weren't sure about creche as a solution. We have found a really excellent one and signed up but the wait is long. In the meantime, i am trying to think of the best solution. DS is with his opa one day a week but I need some 2 hours here, 2 hours there help, either at our house, or I can drop off.... does anyone know of a facility which has spaces or recommend a sitter with experience with quite small babies? DS is 16 weeks.

You know I have no idea. We also didn't sign up for a creche while we were thinking of having a kid and so now we don't have any. It's okay I'm a SAHM but still you ask a good question. I also wonder if there is a place you can use off and on just for when I just need a few hours to get some stuff done.

I wonder if anyone knows of something like that? We could also just arrange something ourselves. I certainly wouldn't mind watching someone's baby for a few hours in exchange for the same?
