Hi ladies,
I have been having some pain that is eerily like that of my ectopic pregnancy three years ago. Yesterday I started spotting in the morning, and by the evening it was full on bleeding. :(
My best friend took me to the ER. During the couple of hours I waited I had myself totally convinced they were going to tell me either a) I wasn't pregnant at all anymore, the baby was gone or b) that I was having a tubal. The doctor walked in and I was totally terrified. She had brought a portable ultrasound with her, and checked just to see if she could see anything.
Well my prayers were answered... there is a baby IN my ulterus :thumb Or a sac really, but at this early on I wasn't expecting to see anything, so a sac is waaay better than the nothing I thought I'd get.
I need good thoughts because she just did a quick scan with the portable machine and ran bloodwork for my hCG. I am going back this morning for another ultrasound, and then I'll go back to the ER tonight to get the results of both (I can't get childcare for long enough to get the results today, I have to wait until my partner is home with our son). My Mom is coming to watch my son and my friends daughter for me to go to my ultrasound at 10am (an hour from now).
Any good thoughts you could spare would be great. I'll update when I can.
