Ugh. This happened to me last time--but at 34 weeks--one week before I gave birth. I'm not quite 17 weeks along and the thought of five more months of this is not pleasant.

I have varicose veins on my vulva. I can't believe I'm admitting this but HELP!!!! Is there anything I can do?? It's actually quite uncomfortable. :(

Vitamins E and C will strengthen your blood vessels. You can break open a vitamin E capsule and apply the oil directly to your skin, but be sure to stop at 36 weeks as there are concerns it can cause retained placenta. Witch hazel and/or plantain leaves are good for relief. If you have plaintain growing wild as a weed in your yard you can pick it fresh and put it in the blender with a little water and make a paste. You can get the regular witch hazel pads sold for hemorroids. Or you can get dry herbs, make an infusion and apply with compresses.

Some of my clients have sword by the "jock strap" by Prenatal Cradle: http://www.prenatalcradle.com/v2.htm

Thanks, I take about 1000 mg of vtc C as it is but will check on the vit E. I ordered a v2 support too. Will check out the witch hazel.
