I keep having horrible waves of nausea both at night when I wake up and during the day. The past two days have been the worst!
If I eat regularly, it's better but it comes back as soon as my stomach is empty again and it's hard to eat like that. I'm basically living on bananas at this point heh.
What are your awesome nausea remedies?

Maca seems to help. I have felt unwell the last few days & I had some Maca this morning in a smoothie. It seems to help.
Also..yes, eat lightly all day. you must keep something in your tummy. protein is good. Keep hydrated too.!!!
Lemonade helps a lot !! & sprite or something carbonated will help you belch. (& that feels good right now)
Hope you feel better soon :)

I loved Reed's Ginger beer (non-alcoholic, of course!) my first pregnancy - I haven't had such severe nausea yet, but I have 4 bottles waiting in the fridge. Also, the Sea-bands - the anti-nausea pressure point bands sold at drug stores really helped me. I got some more for this one, too.

I second both lemonade and maca. Lemonade is goooood, yo. Also lemon drops. Anything sour. Or salty. My midwives last time said, hey, sometimes all you can eat is lemonade and potato chips, and it won't hurt you for a few weeks.
Oh, last time I ate a lot of instant mashed potatoes (the natural kind) made with plain yogurt instead of milk. Lots of salt too.

Lemonade, lemonade, lemonade. (I drank it through my first two pregnancies thinking, oh what a weird craving--not until this time did I know it often helps nausea--I was doing it instinctively!) Sniffing and sipping peppermint tea (hebal) helps me too. Although I have to admit I'd rather have a decaf peppermint mocha. :)

Ok I think I have figured it out. I just gotta make myself eat. All.The.Time. Nibbles of food, at least.
Lemonade doesn't sit well with me, and neither does peppermint in any form. But ginger ale does, and I should go out there and find some quality stuff. All I have at the moment is cheapo HFCS sweetened stuff. I even have the stuff to make it, I just haven't gotten off my butt to do so.

I'm lovin' the gal who recommended baked potatoes.......
has become my staple with butter, sour cream, and it's fun
to run across the street and pick a handful of the neighbors
chives from the garden. So fresh!
Thank you!

That's so funny, I had one this morning and it was sooo goood. DD stole half of it and carried it around and munched on it all morning long. Good thing I have two more hidden in the toaster oven. :lol
I just wish the organic ones weren't so spendy.

potatoes are great. The nausea has made me a little depressed too, but I just try to keep reminding myself that it won't go on forever.
Today was the first day I vomitted. :( It sucked. I've been doing so good ignoring the queasyness... today was far too strong.
I admit I've been off the Maca for a couple days and maybe that is why... but the only juice I can stomach it with was all sold out at the grocery store and haven't had a chance to go back and check it yet. DP is going this afternoon for me... what a sweetheart. :love
In the mean time I've been sucking on mints and that has been helping a lot!
