Hi all!

I'm due January 30th and ALL of my babies have been one to two weeks late. So I'm sure it'll be a Feb. birth.

I am SOOOOO excited. This will be my first DDC at MDC, my first midwife, first homebirth...it's all so thrilling.

I know it wil be a few days before anyone else joins me but I couldn't contain myself! :D

I don't know. From what I've seen they usually wait until there's several people.

I tested positive a week ago for Jan 30...so as of 5 days ago people should be pregnant for February.

So I took a test this morning, but it was one of those "is there a line cuz if there is it's really faint, so maybe I'm imagining it" type of lines. I'm going to try to hold out until 11:30 (4 hours) to take another test. Although I have been needing to go every 30 minutes or so, so I'm not sure how that will work :lol So I might be joining in and I might not. Just wanted to say hi!

I think I am experiencing implantation spotting, though I'm still not completely sure...I tested but got a bfn...still probably pretty early to be testing lol (specially with the cheapie $$ store tests). We decided to stop trying to prevent just this month and I kept saying it would probably take a while cause my cycles have been anywhere from 25-30 days the past 9 months and cause of his work schedule the timing would be hard. Guess not! I am very excited though. My ds will be 8 in two weeks so I haven't done this in a while...

Mamamillet- I understand. We had decided just this month to stop trying to prevent as well. Not actively trying but no more "trying to avoid." It happened our first month too.

Thanks for the well wishes! I'm starting to think that it is maybe AF after all...this is so weird. I started spotting Sunday afternoon veeery light and then it stopped...then started again Monday afternoon, also veeery light, then it seemed like it stopped again but then I have been spotting all day today and it seems a tiny bit heavier, but still haven't had to use anything but a pantyliner. It's driving me batty! One minute I am sure I am pg and then the next I think my body just hates me :irked:

Hi all, I got a BFP at 12 days post O and based on my LMP I am due Feb 2nd :). Just wanted to introduce myself. So far symptoms are tiredness, heartburn/nausea at night, mood swings, huge (and sore) BB's, and crampyness.

Can we talk about bloating? I'm bloated like several times worse than PMS, and I can't button up my pants. I'm not pregnant enough for maternity clothes. It's only a few weeks in! I'm doing the ole rubber band-buttonhole trick I remember from my last pregnancy (loop a rubber band through the button hole and make a loop - then put the loop around the button). But this seems inadequate.

I bought 8 internet cheapies in bulk. They didn't arrive by the time I was ready to test (9dpo) so I went and bought a pack of FRER (3). I took one and it was a faint positive. Took another the next day, also faint positive. Next day, more positive.

By the time the IC's came they were still reading negative when I was having positives on the FRER for days. They finally did start showing up but were much lighter than the FRERs. That's my experience with them. ;)



UGH!!!! I'm having a horrible day today. I'm having palpitations because I ate donuts today which had MSG in them (I'm sensitive to msg). I've been having insomnia so I can't sleep and when I do I wake up about a million times and then my nervous system starts to go all crazy. I'm SO tired today but I can't get a break. Ds poured his milk out and mixed it with his donuts ALL over the table and floor, then he pooped on the carpet, then I spent 30 minutes trying to fix the nasty clogged garbage disposal and I can't get it to work. My 6 year old is not listening and has been in trouble all morning, and then I discovered he had flung spinach sauce on the white kitchen wall last night. I just want to lay down!!!!!

I realize I just made my house sound really nasty, and my kids are unruly. :lol I promise it's not. It's generally quite nice and relaxing around here, and my kids are good. Today is just a bad bad day. :(

So far, not very many symptoms-- bloated, some heartburn at night, a little more frequent urination than usual, but I am not nauseous or fatigued and my BBs don't hurt. I hope the grand trifecta of pg symptoms kicks in soon so I can start to feel pg and stop worrying that it won't stick!!! I am still nursing my 3 yo dd once/day at bedtime, so I am a little worried that may affect this pg.

My symptoms when I was pg with dd didn't kick in until about 5.5 weeks, so hopefully in another week or so I'll be miserable and feel quite pg! :1praying:

Kimmie, do you have a key for your garbage disposal?? Many times it just needs the little key that came with it. I will talk to DH (he's a plumber) and ask him what you are supposed to do, and where to get one if you don't have yours.)

Yes we have one of those "tool" things. I always push the reset button and then put the tool in and turn it. It always works even if it takes a few tries. Dh is home now though, and he says there's something else wrong with it. He's still working on it though.

Things just keep getting worse and worse around here with the kids. Let me tell you. Today is definately one of those days. :eyesroll

visiting from the Jan 2009 DDC; my experience with the internet cheapies was the same as previous posters. I saw some *VERY*VERY*faint line, that I thought may be an evap line, on an internet cheapie, and was irritated enough that I went and bought an Answer Quick & Simple early test... which showed up + right away. Just for kicks I continued testing with teh cheapies, and they got progressively more dark - but not until I was... hmm. at least a week or more late. I won't be buying them next time, I had to confirm with a "regular" test... so if you're using them for early results, they're not fantastic.

So I told my partner today and--well he was not as excited as me :(. I know he'll get there. As I stated in my other post we both kinda thought it would take longer and well it didn't. I have been very tired today--and having to pee an awful lot. My boobs are still very tender. And I am kinda crampy every so often.

I have always had a running list of names in my head as far back as I can remember. We already kinda picked out a boy name that we both liked--but its alwasy subject to change IMO... My first baby went a few days without a name cause he did not "fit" any of the names on my list.

Me, too... This morning (Thurs) is 9dpo, I think. I tested neg, but there was the faintest, faintest line. Like I could tell where it was supposed to be, but it wasn't dark at all. I'm trying to patiently wait til tomorrow morning to test again, without thinking about it or getting my hopes up too much...

Yay, finally a buddy! Congratulations! When is your first appointment? I just scheduled mine a few minutes ago...my doctor wanted me in at 7-8 weeks so I'm booked for June 26th--7 weeks exactly. We travel to see the in-laws over the 4th of July, so we hope to have good news for them then :)

That's the situation I'm in too. I have short cycles so I know they'll say I'm due Feb. 3, but I know it's really Jan 30. But the later a date they have, the less they'll bug me about inducing. So no problem. :D

Yep. I have 27 day cycles and ovulated on cd13. I will gladly take those few extra days because my doctor will only let patients go 1 week past the due date before inducing.

I'm going to cautiously join here. I got a very light positive yesterday and a slightly darker, but still light one today. I'm at 13dpo. I'm nervous because I got three light ones last month and it ended being chemical. I'm taking vitex as I know that progesterone is an issue. I'm wondering if I should go pick up some cream as well.

That's the situation I'm in too. I have short cycles so I know they'll say I'm due Feb. 3, but I know it's really Jan 30. But the later a date they have, the less they'll bug me about inducing. So no problem. :D

ugh I called my ob this morning to get on the list because he is soooo booked. I had both of my babies with this guy and love him! But his secretary was like 'iowaorganic- oh no- how could you let this happen again?' to which I snapped at her and said 'it is never and oh no- it is ALWAYS a blessing for me- so congratulate me already'. Its official, we got a positive digital yesterday afternoon! I'm so excited!!!! According to my LMP, I'm due on Feb 13. (my grandma's b'day)

Can someone explain or figure out my "true" due date for me? We conceived on May 20 and I have 28 day cylces... I'm curious. I've always just gone from my LMP, and one son was a week over, and the other 2 weeks early. Not that babies come on due dates! :)

I got a bfp this morning! From LMP, I'm due Feb 2, but from O dates, I'm due Feb 6th. I went about 8 days early with my dd, but I'm hoping for a Feb 1st babe, b/c that's my brother's birthday, and for some reason I like having a Feb. baby better than a Jan. baby. I don't know, it's weird!
I'm peeing frequently, got a yeast infection for the 1st time in years, craving salty foods. But that's about it so far.

I'm going by my O date not LMP as I just got my cycle to a real length. I'm not sure I could get an accurate date based on LMP. I do know my O date though! My due date is Feb 6th. I really really hope this one sticks. I had some (TMI!) brownish/black spotting in my underwear yesterday. I really wasn't sure what was going on until I realized it was spotting. I kept sitting there trying to figure out what was up with my underwear and why I was producing such an odd looking stain. Duh! My temp was down yesterday morning, but it's back up today, so here to hoping the kid was digging in. I'm four weeks today.

Our friends had a baby yesterday. She was scheduled for a c-section do to footling breech. She was just about to get her epidural when a helicopter crashed on the roof of the hospital. They spent most of the day at the local community college in the gym. The fire was put out, and the damage ended up being way less than it could have been. They let them back in. They sat around for four hours until her doctor got them in to do the c-section. A baby that was supposed to be so big that they wanted to take him early ended up being six pounds! :irked:This is our second friend that has been induced for a large baby and ended up having a small one. I think I'll be shopping around for my midwife now. The good news it that I get to hold a very little baby within the next couple of days.

I am just popping in, we are TTC and hopelly this week will be the lucky week. Keep your fingers crossed we should test around the 15th so I know that we have a long ways to go, we just started trying, this is my 5th pregancy and 2nd child, we have never had a problem getting pregnant but keeping it stick. I don't have too many symptoms, either. I'm a little more tired than usual, but no crazy tenderness, super smell, or nasuea yet. I chickened out and took another test this morning, just to be sure -- still positive. :) With my 2 other pregnancies I felt the boobs thing right away, but I was lucky enough to not have bad morning sickness ever. I'm hoping this one is the same way.

I've wondered when we'll share the news with the boys. We've always kept out pregnancies quiet until the 3-4th month or so, from everyone except my sister. So I wasn't planning on telling our folks or anyone soon. The boys don't need to know yet, since the wait will be so long. But my older one doesn't miss anything in the conversation, so I'm guessing he'll pick up on it at sometime when dh and I are chatting. And once he knows, I doubt it will be quiet much longer. It'll be interesting to figure this one out. Anyone else in a similar situation?

I really haven't had many symptoms. I've been incredibly irritable. Last weekend I was getting really mad at DH because he was disagreeing with me on how to build the garden gate! That normally wouldn't bother me. I've been really tired, but it's been a long week. Then last night I was pretty sure I was going to throw up. At this point I welcome it. Anything that tells me my hormones are high I'm all for. However we're going camping next weekend that should be fun if I'm barfing. It's a family reunion so everyone will be there too. I suppose the cat will be out of the bag at that point.

We don't plan to tell anyone until we're at least a couple of months along. I don't want to have to tell them all I lost it. Same goes for our son. I lost forty pounds this year, so I should be able to put on a little weight and people will just think I'm slipping.

Another PAL here. :) Well, actually after two losses--a full term baby who died during labor and an early miscarriage. And if it helps you feel any better, my second son (who passed away because of something that happened during birth, not something that was related to pregnancy), I threw up a whole 2 times the entire pregnancy and felt absolutely great. The one I miscarried, I threw up every single day at least once. So, sometimes you just get blessed with great pregnancies. :D (I also had hyperemesis with my first son. Ick.)

Well I think I am out...never did get a bfp and have no idea when I ovulated...I think I just had a seriously wonky period. The lightest and earliest I've ever had, but at least it's over. I have not completely given up hope, but most likely it was nothing.

Okay, here's a symptom. I totally just cried.


One of my symptoms was when I was about to cry b/c i couldn't convert Jewely's drawings from a word DOC. to a JPG.

Yesterday morning I took two tests... one was BFN, so I set it aside, the FRER was ever so faintly positive. I picked the first one up again after obsessing for a few minutes about whether the FRER was really a line or not :lol and it had a faint line too! :eek Last night my partner mentioned something about me being pregnant... so when we got home I took another... handed it to him and asked him how many lines... he says one... omg... no... two!!!! This one was dark enough to faintly catch on camera.

So I guess... after back to back losses I'm here again. I had a chemical pregnancy and then a miscarriage my last two cycles, so I am praying so hard for a sticky bean. I feel really good about this one though.

As for symptoms, my chart is triphasic (which can be because of extra progesterone after implantation) for only the second time ever that I know of (and the other time I was pregnant with twins); I am starving; and most importantly for me, I am craving meat. I am a vegetarian who only ever ever wants meat when she is pregnant... that should've given me away when it started a few days ago :lol

So many of us are PAL. Many many gentle comforting thoughts and hugs to you all. I pray we all get to stay here.

Now off to start my day. I am going to test again after church, I want to see that line darken :wink

Then again it wasn't optimal testing pee. I took one this morning and it makes me feel much better. Not dark dark, but it was very clearly a positive.

I'm still feeling sick on and off. We got milk shakes yesterday, and I drank less than half of mine. It made me feel so sick. My mom will know for sure something is up if I'm passing on the dairy. I am the real dairy queen!

When they get this DDC I will be joining. EDD Feb 8th/09. We were trying for a November baby when we started. It seems our whole family is fated to have birthdays in the spring. My dh's is Feb 22, My FIL is Feb 18. Mine is Mar. 23 and DS is Apr. 23. My MIL is June 29. SIL and BIL are both in May.
This will be my first DDC on MDC. I am hoping for an HBAC and also hoping I can get the same midwife I had before.
As for symptoms I just feel tired and nauseas which is what tipped me off that this was it. Now I need to figure out when to tell everyone. We weren't secretive that we were ttc.

Thats so funny, I was the oposite. Usually I have to force milk down. But yesterday,I finished the yougurt and cottage cheese at lunch, and even made pudding for dinner's dessert! my kids are loving it, dh is just laughing.

I've been spitting fire of a good week. Last weekend hubby was working on building a gate on the garden. I had no idea what he was talking about, and I was getting so mad I finally went in the house. Hi everyone! I've just started posting again the last couple of days as I was suspecting I might be pregnant. I just got my period back in April (still nursing my 28 month old son) and had an 8 day LP but this cycle was LP was getting longer and longer and my temps were still up. Last night, I had a little bleeding which dashed my hopes until I remembered that my temps were still high. This morning, I've had no more bleeding and my temp was higher than ever and even though it's only 14 dpo, I took a test and it was positive!

I am really excited although I can't remember whether a bit of bleeding right now might be implantation stuff or whether it could be an early miscarriage. Obviously, I'm hoping for implantation bleeding, but even if I do miscarry, I'll just be glad to know I can at least conceive (again). Here's keeping my fingers crossed that this little one will make it to Feb and off to find more info about bleeding.

hey all :) 11 dpo and some spotting on day 10...testing tomorrow...not so sure if I am ready for another (dd is only 8mo) but hey, its all good :wink
