I seem to be the new reigning queen of chemical pregnancies. Thus far I've had a loss at 7w, and somewhere between 2 and 4 chemicals (all lost at 5w).

I'm 14 DPO and showing my unmistakable pregnancy signs. Thus, I'm probably in fact pregnant again, whatever that means. Is it a sign that I've been at this too long that my only reaction is "oh crap, here we go again?" Yeah, we were trying and all, and if this stuck I'd be thrilled, but I'm not counting on it.

Sorry, I just needed to vent to people who might understand. Thanks for listening.

I am hoping for the best! Chemical pregnancies are usually a progesterone issue. Have you had that checked?

No, but I use a progesterone cream.

I've read the cream isn't usually enough. You would need a prescription for a suppository from a doctor. Hope this helps!

I have one, but I got sick of using it every single month. I really don't need an 18 day LP and it was just annoying and not seeming ot help anything. I've had at least one miscarriage while on progesterone.

I also lose my pregnancies between 5-6 weeks. It's a real drag, bc it seems like it shouldn't be a big deal (mentally or on our bodies) at that early, but it really is.

Has your doctor or midwife actually tested you for low progesterone? I just found out last month I'm borderline low. It's just a bloodtest, but the tricky part is it has to happen a week after you ovulate.

The problem with m/c's is sometimes there are multiple causes.

I'm on prometrium. If it doesn't help me on it's own the next time I get pregnant, I'll be having a hysteroscopy to have a couple uterine polyps removed. My doctor had me get a saline sonogram and that's when they discovered them. It turns out uterine polyps are very common in pre-menopausal women. They usually don't cause issues with pregnancy, but sometimes they can interfere with implantation so it's never a bad idea to get them removed if there's been problems. The surgery isn't supposed to be a biggie. It's an outpatient deal, and less invasive than a D&C, and the doctor can really get a good look at how everything looks inside.
