Hi everyone!
We're moving to Avon next month, and will need a health care provider for our new babe. We co-sleep, delay/selectively vax, yadda yadda. The only folks we know in the area are pretty mainstream, so we have no other recommendations. I don't mind driving out of the way for someone really great.
Any recs or anything else to add about the area? :) My husband has lived there before, but I'm totally new to OH.

Hey Mama,
This sub-forum doesn't get much activity from the NEO crowd -- for something like this you'll have much better luck joining the local board http://www.apcleveland.com. I'm on the eastside so I don't have a local recommendation for you.
Good luck!

My whole family is in Cleveland. I grew up in Bay Village and both of my sisters live in Avon Lake. It really is a beautiful place to live and everything is so close! There are a lot of great things to see and do up there.
Since I moved long before I had kids (back in 2000) I really have no recommendations for pedis. I'll check with my sister, she works for the Cleveland Clinic.
I think you'll find that Avon is a nice place to live. I got married in Avon! If you have any questions about things to do or anything you can PM me.

Hey Mama,
I asked and some friends on apCleveland said to disregard the notice, everything is in fact working. Just click on to register.
This is a great area! There's a ton of cruncy families and lots of great institutions/things to see.

Kathleen Skoch in Lakewood is really good. She's very tolerant of dd not being vaxed.

Just bumping this up. I just moved to Strongsville from Houston and need a ped too, so I was hoping someone might jump in with some advice.

So glad I found this thread again...I'd nearly forgotten about it! Our move is in 5 days. Oy!
Thanks for the rec mzminty!
And I did sign up on the apcleveland site, but there were zero posts. No activity whatsoever as far as I could see. :(
Edited to add: scratch that about the apcleveland site. Found my way...
