Agh I woke up this morning with minor cramps ( which I have everymorning) but when Iwent to the bathroom and wipped there was some light pink blood! I am a few days shy of 6 weeks right now. Im am so worried and scared right now. I called the dr, and spoke with the nurse and Im waiting to hear back but Im so stressed out.... this pregnancy has been 4 years in the making and Im so scared right now!

I am on pergesterone though am Im thinking that might possible have something to do with it? i dunno, but I know from previouse birth control like the nuva ring, that my vajayjay doesnt like foreign objects being stuck up it. Could that be it? Does anyone else have any experiance with this! My mind is going crazy waiting for the Dr to return my call......

 It could just be the baby burrowing deeper... I had some pink spotting a week ago and I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow and everything's still ok. :)

Some women do spot during early pregnancy. Try to stay calm until you hear from the doc. Take it easy for now. :Hug

I've spotted in 4 of my pregnancies in the first trimester, usually around 5-6 weeks. With one (my 9th baby) I miscarried a twin at 16 weeks but the bleeding began the day I discovered I was pregnant, intermittently until my body finally let her go at 16 weeks. The other twin is in my lap nursing right now! :)

Spotting early on is not normal, but it is COMMON! :) Relax, rest, and pray! :)

crashing your DDC:

I spotted with my 3rd and I freaked because I had had two miscarriages. I had atleast 3 people tell me they spotted with their sons but not with their daughters. This was **great** news for me because DH really wanted a boy and we already had two girls! Guess what??? They were right! So, I'm thinking BLUE for you. (((hugs)))

ok so they just called me and want to me to go in to have more bloodwork done right now to check my levels, and then another ultrasound tomarrow but the nurse said I should be fine. :thumb so I hope everything is ok!

It's entirely possible that your cervix is just irritated. A friend of mine had a lot of bleeding in her first pregnancy because of that, both first trimester and even a third trimester gusher that had her OB really worried (it happened right after a cervical exam), but it was just her cervix that was unhappy. Baby was fine!

So hopefully you'll get good results!

I had a bit of spotting that scared the crap out of me last week. Everything seems okay now and my symptoms have been slowly increasing in intensity. Lots of women spot during early pregnancy and everything is fine.

I bled a lot with my DD's pregnancy, so much so that I was certain I'd m/c and no one was more stunned than me that the pregnancy progressed normally. I actually passed clots early on with her. I bled all through the first trimester and had several episodes in the 2nd and 3rd. I also had bleeding with my DS though not as much. Good luck, it is stressful but definitely doesn't mean that the pregnancy is not a healthy one.

My OB told me almost half of all women get some spotting in the first tri and it doesn't mean something is wrong. I hope all is well for you!

That's great news! Last time around when I had some spotting, turns out it was from being constipated. :o Apparently when things start getting crowded in there it can bump the cervix/uterus and dislodge a little blood (much like sex or a cervical exam).

Hooray! Bring out a salad of joyous dancing vegetables to celebrate your wee bean sprout!

:notes2:
I'm adding that to my GOOD TO KNOW list seeing as being bunged up is already a problem.
