Hi Ladies!
I really don't remember feeling this nutty with DS in the first trimester. Honestly, I'm pulling out my hair with irritability at pretty much everything. My beautiful son is transforming into an opinionated little man (which I love...it's his genetic right:thumb) However, I just feel so exhausted and 'Fall of the House of Usher' sensitive that I am not performing up to my usual parenting standards, such as they are. Poor husband is getting what's left of me after DS FINALLY goes to bed and let me tell you, that's not much.

Anyway, no puking yet ( i was dastardly ill with Holden) but I swear to all that's holy, I'm going to lock myself up in one of those sensory deprivation tanks for the next three months.

Anyone else on an emotional rollercoaster?

I mentioned the same thing to DH yesterday. I feel like I am a huge emotional mess and sooooo much more tire than I remember ever being when pregnant with DS. I feel bad for DH and DS if this keeps up :)

i haven't told anyone at work about the pregnancy yet, but i think they'll figure it out eventually, because i walk around tired and annoyed with everyone.
everyone keeps saying "you seem so tired...is everything o.k.?" i just tell them i've got a lot going on and i'll be fine, but i think that makes people worry more.

I haven't had issues with this yet, but when I was pregnant with my first son and was working, I noticed that I was a LOT more confrontational, which was not always a good thing! :lol I was not afraid to tell it like it is, and normally I'm really shy and reserved IRL (not necessarily so online :bag:).

I'm a paramedic, and most of my coworkers are guys who have no clue.
I haven't told anyone at work yet except my Unit Chief ... I think everybody must just think I've turned into a meanie, which is odd. I'm the one who is always super sweet to everyone.

I had a night shift last night and because I am SO tired, I went to bed around 9pm. They had the tv cranked up and were laughing and laughing. I laid there, irritated and angry and exhausted. After about an hour, I stomped out there and said, "I'm going to gag all of you guys if you don't shut the #@$% up!" And then I promptly stormed back into the bedroom and slammed the door.

It was very, very quiet after that.:hide:
